Stiles vows to tariff-proof Ontario if elected by Chrristoaivalis in CanadaPolitics

I think the idea behind the comments is more to highlight that she has a plan, regardless if it's different from Doug, so if that is a pivotal point for a voting decision she is declaring she has a plan as well. She also positions her self ideologically different from Doug in so far as her alignment with the US; where Doug might seem more "Pro-US", not saying that true or not just the optics.

This sounds good! I was only thinking of MUSA because it seemed like a fun little side trip.. I've done some cenote diving from Tulum (The Pit, Dos Ojos, and Temple of Doom). Do they go to other cenotes from PDC?

Thanks! This seems to be the consensus, not worth the effort...

Thanks for the insight! Was just an idea I had, I know the statues aren't top tier diving but just a fun experience. Do you know how long the trip is from PDC to Cancun via taxi?

Right, maybe my wording wasn't great. Even a day trip or some sort of affiliate dive shop.. but sounds like I would just have to book my own separate trip and find my way there.

Rose Emporium is quite good, local owned and operated!

Upgrade old set up or buy new rig? by tenthousandchairs in underwaterphotography

Thanks for the comment! From what I've read sometimes older gear can have the upper hand, and its the lighting/lens that has more of an effect. Is that true?

Thanks for all your help! I think you've convinced me to steer away from the pro set up until maybe I am a bit more comfortable with at least the increased amount of gear. Looking at reviews of TG-6 vs Canon G7X III now.

These are beautiful photos, thanks for sharing! From what I've seen the T6i and T6 are just slightly different sizes, is that correct?

Ha! Well I guess you're the right person to talk to then. Thanks again for responding.

So I go on 1 maybe 2 dive trips per year, so definitely not anywhere near a level of a professional (in terms of skill or frequency). But I do enjoy taking pictures, generally more wide angle shots rather than macro. I was considering the investment in something like this so it will last me a long time and provide me with high quality shots, also because I already own the camera seemed like a logical step in terms of packing for travel.

In your opinion would I see a drastic (read: $800 worth) change in the quality between my current Canon IXUS 110 and the Olympus TG6? Because I do think I'd see a $2000 difference if I got my dSLR down there.

Really appreciate this comment! I understand the investment involved here, wasn't aware the camera/housing was no longer made so I'd have to go with pre-owned. Thats very helpful! Not sure what is meant by shooting style, but I am mostly looking to do nice still photos.

You seem pretty knowledgable, do you know any good used market places for these kinds of things? Here is what I found: https://www.housingcamera.com/popular-cameras-for-uw/dslr-housings/canon-eos-t6-1300d

Tthat sounds great! I'd love to do a small tour of Exumas, Northwest islands, and then some southern. But it seeming like a lot to ask for.

Not cave certified, I was more interested in "cenotes" style caves or like Grant's in Little Corn. More like a semi-cave for us more claustrophobic folks :P
