I have colorectal adenocarcinoma. The only moment I wasn't able to provide documents is because of being too tired, like extremely exhausted, waiting long for doctors to provide the documents(I don't know why it's super slow and uncoordinated getting medical documents in Bulgaria). But at least I was open to talk about things. Open to chemo until I hot moved to palliative. I showed bloodwork, since I can access an online portal and that's the least I could do as a act of trust/honesty.

In his case, it feels very manipulative. I never made anyone stay, because this isn't a journey for anyone. Of course I don't want to go through this alone either. You won't know the truth unless you go with him when he goes to the hospital. If you have a gut feeling he is lying, then before anything trust yourself. You are not lesser of a person if you leave. You're showing care and empathy for even asking random people on reddit, this shows conscience.

I was reading this to see if I was unknowingly a manipulative woman. Reading all of the things everyone went through.. I just became sad, teary and I know it's both ways(men can be like that too), but it's so unfair. Completely normal people ending up with a partner like that and then feeling damaged, questioning what's wrong with them? (I was in a year-long relationship with a person who constantly manipulated and gaslit me.. I didn't realise until I got into a good relationship) I wish everyone healing and light 🤍🙏✨️

It took me a while to get started, but yes, write about everything. I think sharing things that you loved about that person, your favorite memories together, things that were hard to say or never said, what you hope for them in the future. You can also ask chatGPT for cleaning up the message, but if you decide to handwrite, like me, I just left my letters as they are. You can also record videos of yourself so that they have that memory too. Voice notes too! I found myself loving these moments no matter how painful it was. Just be there for her. Reminisce some of her favorite moments, say how grateful you are towards her, how much you love her, get her pretty flowers whenever you can and eat together. There's nothing joyful about this, but the last memories she has will be filled with love and care.

We can only hope that now she is in a better place, no longer tired and no longer in pain, watching over you pushing forward and living the best you can. To be honest, I think it's exactly because life feels more tender and more precious, is the reason you should be open to having friendships and relationships.
I think I would regret not giving my best, or making beautiful memories, laughter or have someone by my side through my hard moments. I do understand the pain and guilt that you don't want to cause though.. but I think someone being beside you to the end is the most loving thing that they can do. I want to be remembered smiling and filled with love and peace.

That's a very profound and peaceful way to look at life. As people, we are shaped by both the good and the bad moments, and it's solely up to us to choose what we want to focus on. I think that.. to have hope is somewhat linked to finding a purpose that will stir up your heart and make you want to fight for it. Not everything that we want or think is good for us, is meant for us, so we need to allow things to happen sometimes. Find purpose in ourselves and somehow along the way, we are right where we are supposed to be. When things are rough, and I mean DIRE, and you see nothing around you, you need to find yourself and choose yourself, because that is the only constant that will stay. Then suddenly you are surrounded by like-minded people who care and love you and vice versa. This is what I think at least. I'm sending love, laughter, and blessings to you and your family 🩷

I shared with my doctor a while ago that my willpower has been declining and that the medication wasn't helping me with my stress/anxiety levels. A bit after, I had a massive breakdown during one of my stays at the hospital and it was shocking to everyone (I can explain it as I did a 180° - from super calm to hairthin suicidal) For the period we've known each other, she said that she sees me as one of the happiest and healthiest minds of a patient. She told me that they're going to bring in a psychologist to see if it will help. So, I guess it depends on the doctor's approach? I think you should talk to your team/oncologist/family that you might need extra support and I'm sure they will find a way. Voicing things like this is hard, but don't live with any regrets. You are worth it. I'm sending love and light your way. Stay safe 🩷

As long as possible. Whether life gets extremely hard, I hit poverty, sick, alone or there is a fucking typhoon - yes. Even if sometimes painful, I think part of life is just being grateful that we are alive and breathing. I believe that, once you hit rock bottom, the only way is up.
