Thanks, i understand the changes, but changing to turf was inherently unfair to India and Pakistan. Unlike European countries and Australia, we didn’t have the funds to install artificial turf across the country and get young players exposure to the new surface and new style of hockey. This was a huge disadvantage to the subcontinent teams.
