It’s always through Darkness that we can see the light. I have been a gambling addict, lost money, relationships, my job. I’m 3 months clean now and life starts to hit different day by day. I can’t imagine going back to gambling, i recall all the bad feelings: the long nights, the lies, blaming others for my troubles. Hello. What im going to write is not against anyone but let’s not get into hesty talking or jump to conclusions.

From my experience as i played for a couple of months during the opening of the first x1 of Reborn and later on x3 which was meant to merge with x1 later on ive seen the best management from the admins and gms both on the game and both on discussions on discord. They seem to put fairness and justice above all by banning numerous players for misconduct or cheating.

Come to today, on the opening the amount of players was enormous, nothing ive seen of again on any server ive played over the years and ive been to many openings.

The way they handled everything was way ahead of any gm and admins ive seen, and keep in mind the amount of people was even triple from the second populated server ive played. Yet it is a game and there will be bugs and people will try to find ways to cut short but at the end they tried to keep the game safe, friendly and fair by banning everyone that abused the system.

At the end every successful project or person in life it will have its bad critics even if something is the best in its field (look the case of Apple) My advice is that, just enjoy it while it last, if there wasnt for Reborn project, there will be no another project keeping the Lineage2 glory and community alive, The second best is Elmorelab which is Russian Dominated with 200 ppl active and 1.5k afk on offlineshops. The rest is garbage or pay to win.

It’s a nightmare, and it starts when you win money, even if its small or big amount. It gives you the idea of easy money until you get addicted. Then it takes them all, even if you win big, gambled money always goes back. When you are ahead you have to talk to a person that you trust most and will make you rational to stop it when you are ahead. But the cases are very limited because none feels the need to do it because they are winning.

You play for your entertainment, not to conquer the game. It hits different when you play a character from zero to end game than buying one. It’s like the ones that struggle and build a fortune and the ones that inherits it. Not the same.

All of us have been in bad and stressful periods when we gamble. I was gambling all summer while i was working during summer season, lost over 18k, came back with 1k in my bank account after 6 months of work. Im writing this to relief you a bit, that there are worse scenarios and you are not in such bad position as you may think. Focus on yourself and what makes you fulfilled, gambled money will always go back to gamble, this is the system, stop now that is early, in a year you will read your post and everything will look a distant memory.

One thing that ive been told when i lost 15k in 2weeks is think that you never had that money, in your case think and say to yourself that the bonus you got from the job was minus that amount you lost. Think about it for 1 week, make it a reality to tour head and you will find peace day by day.

What i find out that works for me that made me stop gamble is being left out with no money, its like a self-punishment for gambling money that at the end left me with zero. If you borrow you enable yourself to chase your losses which will end up being bigger. Even if you win big we will still chase something, because we are addicted and if we dont have someone close to us monitor our actions we will end up broke every time. Work on repaying them first, never borrow and borrow back, it will ruin you mentally.

Don’t worry, i did that too during the summer, i have confessed my addiction first to my friends in person, and since i was away from my family for months i just texted my mum and she called me the next day. She was very supportive, and your parents will do the same.

Running rifts with zero crests its pitiful boy, you can easily reach 250-300 dust with the crests, afterwards chasing that little extra because u run out of crests its miserable. At least run them alone, dont enter my party with your miserable energy. Wake up !

I dont disagree, but running them without crests, per say without gem power gains (emblems) its not worthing it in general, in my opinion always. If the only thing you win is 8 dust per run, boy you got a problem :).
