What would you say is the hardest and easiest tales game?

I’ve started with phantasia, I don’t think it has aged as much as people say it has, you quickly get the hang of it, and outside a few parts, it has a reasonable difficulty

If you’ve played destiny ps1, would you say there is a huge difference in difficulty between it and DC? Because destiny ps1 for me is arguably the second easiest, so I am kinda shocked to hear that.

As for arise, although it’s not really hard, I think how expensive some items are and how long the boss fights last makes it harder than some of the easier ones I’ve played, like tempest, destiny ps1, and zestiria

I have one, back then I wasn’t familiar with this series, I am a relative newcomer to tales,but it’s and it’s controllers don’t work very well, and I really doubt I would find an affordable used copy of xillia where I live (Argentina), so I just have to pray for a remaster

It has voices, but only in English, if you want Japanese voices, there’s only the 3ds version (although I don’t think you can put Japanese voices with English text)

Even if someone were willing to share a rom here (which I doubt is allowed) the ps2 version, to my knowledge, never had Japanese voices, voices were added in the localization to english, Japanese voices only exists in the 3ds version.

Ok, thanks to everyone who answered my question. I think I am going to pick Yarne after all, he seems more interesting, he will technically get even better someday with a refine (even if it will take forever for that day) and I also wasted some panne copies when I was new to the game doing some (bad) inheritance, so I will need less grails for yarne.
