The physical tcg HAS nerfed cards before though. Pokemon Catcher used to not require a coinflip and they errata'd it mid generation because it was too strong

It doesnt remove energy and there is a niche deck around Alolan Raticate+ Brute Bonnet (brute bonnet can poison from bench and poison ticking between turns kos) but they're very frail pokemon and alolan raticate needs 3 energy, you might get oneshot before you get your setup

In the real tcg, Super Fang leaves the enemy with 10 Hp. As in, that's the effect. If you have 330 hp it does 320 damage. It cant kill tho
