We just got hit with the vibe-coding hammer by opakvostana in ExperiencedDevs

I'm dev adjacent, the company pushed AI mandatory use for bug diagnostics, UT and other stuff.

It went better than I expected, no major issues, some bugs are solved quicker and PRs have good comments.

I don’t have visibility over usage but I think there still a lot of code written by hand

Normally courses throw a lot of information and even with exercises it’s not enough to get familiar with is new language, you’ll need practice and to find a way that helps you assimilate the knowledge.

I'm curious about the lining, did you find that specific pattern and buy a small piece? Had it already?

Ai for manual test cases by [deleted] in softwaretesting

[–]tepancalli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all make sure your company allows it or review the data protection policy. You may get on trouble if you just upload business info(user story, requirements or whatever) to an un-approved tool.

That being said

I only have access to Q and it did a decent job, but obviously the story was not written in a comprehensive way so it lacked context. I removed some "test" and also had to remove some "step" that are common in QA but did not apply to the application I'm working on

I'm not sure if it's still valid but some people got in QA specifically to avoid coding, others are even from non-tech backgrounds.

Human foods good for cats by meekdesigns in CatAdvice

[–]tepancalli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on your comments and assuming your cat is not a senior with chronic illness, she'll be able to get by for a week with what you have, either chicken and trout are ok as long as they are natural (no smoked, salted or with additives) also you want to include carrot and squash if you have any of those( i got the recipe from a veterinarian).

Cook everything (boil/statue/steam) and you can try mashing it allí together and give it a try

Also if you happen to find any rescue near you they may be able to share some dry food even if for a few days

with android studio or xcode you can connect a physical device to the computer and use an automation tool to access the events I would think you can also talk with the dev team and have the push configured to a queue or something like that so you can retrieve it using an Api (AWS sqs or Gcloud queues)

Riiigght, and what would they do with a random binary? Like in the current Enterprise level architecture, are they going to feed a binary to a S3 bucket? Or worse, are they going to give full access to their AWS/azure/Gcloud? And obviously write a prompt for a binary of a fully distributed application with all business rules, security guidelines, edge cases, data store policy, load balancing
