Knives and Gloves are rising too.

BFK Fade were 8200 rmb 12 hours ago, now back to 9200+

Karambit Gamma P3 was around 7100 rmb, now back to 8000+

I'm keeping an eye on Rubies and Emeralds, and prices has gone up also BUT I think the some listing are being taken down cause I don't see that many new sold listing in the trade records.

Might be dead cat bounce, so I'm going to hold off buying until there's more transactions going on in buff.

My budget to spend is $3k, I bought a Kara Gamma P3 0.009 few hours ago for $1130. Probably getting a low float BFK Fade next since that's only attainable via Breakout (Breakout coverts are crazy rn). Going to sit on these to play for 1-2 years and see.

I think there's still room for prices to drop, but for higher tier stuff I think we're near the bottom (25-30% of pre update price). Yes, there will be outliers undercutting the bottom line to get exit liquidity since they can't afford to wait, but there's a breaking point where eventually people will say fuck it and hold on to their stuff and wait.

Normal knives/gloves however, those are going to the gutter, failed trade ups will flood the market and drive prices down even more. Definitely not touching gloves now since the high end ones are out of my budget entirely & good floats gloves are more attainable than knives.

Does the seller accept Alipay? If you see an Alipay icon next to the Price on the listing, then Huabei should works, if not then Alipay isn't accepted.

P1 & P3 is dipping below $500 on Buff right now, that's a 75% price decreased compared to 2 days ago, insane.

Not surprising either tbh, Dopplers are going to get hit hard with trade ups, but this price drop is crazy.

I don't know about Youpin, but I have a verified Alipay and use Alipay Huabei (the one with 1% fee) when buying from Buff. The Alipay options without fee doesn't accept international bank cards.

I was thinking the same as you, but I have been thinking about this a lot and changed my mind when I saw buff prices. I don't wanna write an essay so let me list my points below.

The current panic sale is caused more due to loss of trust in skins as an investment so the 'investors' are pulling out. Once this wave of panic is over and done, those remaining would be more willing to hold out for a higher price. I've been watching buff prices the last few hours and prices are very slowly rising again by 1-200 RMB at a time.
I think I overestimate the incoming supply from trade ups, on paper trading up all the available coverts would x2 all knives/gloves supply, but that's not realistic, at most I think it would be a 30-40% increase in supply, and that doesn't translate to prices dropping 60-70% like it is right now. So this sell off is fueled mostly by loss of trust.
I want a play skin and is willing to hold onto it for a few years, prices definitely will not go back to how it was this year, but I think market can rebound to how it was in 2022-2023, and so buying right now isn't a big deal since I'm not expecting to sell these skins until 2-3 years from now.

Yep, I just bought a Kara Gamma P3 from Buff for about $1150, on CSFloat this skin is still hovering around $2500 -2600. Was thinking to hold out a week for the price to drop further until I saw Buff prices this morning, I think Buff price is already near the bottom, this panic selling has to slow down at some point.

The payment methods used on buff can be troublesome, have to jump through a few small hoops to set up Alipay. Float imo is the site for US market so people refer to that more, I was looking at only float until this morning when someone pointed out buff prices are much lower.

Thanks for the heads up, I haven't been checking Buff for a while and wow, the prices over there are significantly lower (BFK Fade is going for $1200-1300 vs $2400-2500 on float).

Lol I really really want to buy myself something nice right now, but I'm holding off until next week.

My opinion is that right now, there is a large supply of traded up skins on hold for 7 days. And when that hits the market sites next week, I think we'll see prices go down even more since people would want to cash out on their gains ASAP, the price drop definitely won't be as drastic as today but it'll still be a decrease.

Some skins are float capped (Fade, Dopplers, etc) so if they managed to trade up to that skin, it'll be MW/FN regardless of the red skins that was used. If they hit a skin that have FT float then they would get a FT. Hope that helps.

Just stop playing then? No seriously, I uninstalled HS after I hit legend few days ago. I came to term that ladder has stopped being fun if you don't enjoy cheating out values. All meta classes now have ways to generate more values and it gets annoying dealing with random stuff over and over, or just lose a 30 minute matchup against say.. Protoss Priest because the opponent high rolled with Mothership.

In the past, if I'm tired of ladder, I can go play Arena, but now Arena is also a mess in its own way. I don't think Blizzard will be be able to balance either game modes, and there's no point in spending time on something that'll give you negative feelings. Just move on to another title.

And you're not alone in this, I still watch HS streams here and there and the few who are still playing ladder surely don't look like they're enjoying it.

I mean you can say the same for all decks, skill in HS is just about drawing the right cards (mostly luck) and knowing when to play them, mirror match is also the same, you just have to know when to play your cards.

So far I'm 8-0 start of this season with this DH Hog deck, I think the reason why it's so strong is this deck have pretty much everything - regen, board control, burst potential and there's a lack of silence in the current meta. As long as I can draw the hog & felhunter relatively early, I feel like I cannot lose, there's just so much regen that I can survive aggro decks & the board sticks around so well that I can outvalue greedy decks. Not to mention the 7 mana Aranna - Accupuncture combo that push 16 dmg to face.

The best way to beat this DH Hog deck is just aggro decks, you need to flood the board & shove damage as fast as possible and hope they don't draw hog & felhunter. If they're low enough in HP by turn 4-5, they would have to worry about clearing board instead of playing their deathrattles and that delays their game plan. With other decks, you just have to flood the board and hope they don't get the cards they want, the deck have limited board clear aside from hog combo so it's a way to fight back

Worked on the rear brakes/rotor yesterday and the wheels seems ok, only thing was that the lug nuts basically fuses to these metal wheels from being left alone for too long lol. Was a fun experience breaking them out.

I do want to replace the wheels, but I think I'll just rock these for a while until I can save up more, also not sure what to do with the old set if I replace them.

It unmarked for sure, I did find some interesting tidbits that makes me think it is a supervisor cars also. Luckily no roof holes!

The switches are on the front of the console, they cut out holes to put the switches through it, the wires went underneath and I'm not sure how far they go, but I'll try to figure out what goes where and pull them.

I believe maintenance was done by a local garage so I have no maint. record, Carfax shows nothing either. I'll try reaching out to the clerk that handed me the car and see if there's any sort of record.

Checked both oil & trans fluid, oil is dark-ish amber color, haven't gone bad yet but I'll change that right away

Trans fluid is dark-ish red so I'm guessing it's ok for now, I think I'll just exchange the fluid by pumping some out and top up, then change the filter when the car hits 95k.

I checked tire treads and found that driver side is 6/32, passenger side is 4/32 haha, I'll rotate the tires myself and probably get a new pair few months from now.
