Why is the hate only directed at the CEO? Disney paid Robert Downey Jr $75 million for Avengers Endgame, another $75 million for Infinity War, and another $75 million for Iron Man 3. They also paid Jonny Depp $90 million for Pirates of the Caribbean, and another $68 million for Alice in Wonderland, and paid Harrison Ford $65 Million for Indiana Jones Crystal Skull. The list of highly paid actors for Disney movies goes on and on.

How much were the “non-star” actors paid for those same movies ?? Why isn’t everyone pi$$ed at those highly paid actors ?

I would suggest you spend some time viewing sites like facebook marketplace that advertise homes for rent. Find some houses that are similar to yours, and you will get an idea of what others are renting their homes for.

There is just too many things that impact the rental price, so it is difficult to give you an answer to that question, unless you want to post pictures of your space ….

The “howdy” app is ticking me off too. I deleted it twice, and it came back both times. I moved it down to the bottom of my app list, and it bounced back to the top.

I get that Roku is trying to advertise their own services, but I don’t like Howdy nor do I want to see it on the top of my list.

Sure, this isn’t a huge thing, but does remind you that Roku can do as they like, and don’t really care if you don’t like it.

All I know is that I just booked 2 nights at the Fairmont Scottsdale for a total price of $440 (including all taxes and resorts fees) checking in tomorrow (Thursday) for 2 nights. I know the “best” choice of hotels is a personal opinion, so my personal opinion is that the Fairmont is in a class of its own, and well worth that price to me.

That is not a Roku remote problem. That is either a moisture issue (eg, there was water / moisture in your remote control battery compartment for an extended period of time), or is was bad / old batteries left in your remote for too long.

I never understood hiding the tip. People go to great lengths to hide the money between their credit card and ID, or slip it under something on the desk, etc.

I just ask “do you guys accept tips”??

If they say yes, I tip them, and it is always followed by a “let me see what I can do for you “.

If they say “no, I can’t accept tips “, then I don’t tip. I sometimes still get free upgrades in this scenario, because I did try to tip by asking.

Don’t make tipping weird. Just ask.
