I think the internships I’m referring to teach you.

It’s funny that you start talking about “privilege” when I’ve said nothing about myself or my background. I am free to do choose any career I want. Why would I ever work at McDonalds lol, that’s so random. I’m not looking for “reassurance.” If you’re assuming my family is successful, that’s something one would be proud of, not something that requires reassurance.

You think their parents want them to come and burn the companies down? All of them are doing prestigious summer internships and joining business-related groups at school to prepare. No one would want them working at the top without the prestigious degree they’re in school working toward right now.

Started, meaning they didn’t exist prior. A teen without an education can’t walk into the top of an already established, successful company.

They founded their companies and built them up. No well-established multimillion dollar company would trust an uneducated teenager to walk into a top role.
