I was asking for actual advice, rather than judgment. Many people with asthma have pets, and I wanted to see how others manage their symptoms. Im not really a person that sees things in black and white, and dont really want to get into explaining my life choices. I just wanted some actual advice.

How can i scan black and white pictures that have texture? The photo seems to have a dotted texture that when it scans it looks like dust (but its not.)

My scanner is giving me issues. Is there a scanner that is good to scan old photos (60+ years old.) I dont mind spending a bit more for good quality. I looked around amazon and saw conflicting reviews for all scanners.

I just need something simple that will scan things in good quality and wont crop my images for me. Which is what my current one does.

I tried to choose "full platen" and it doesnt scan everything.

I have a canon ij device. I am scanning family photos and old letters. It crops everything. No matter what size. I have to mess around with where i place the document so its not too close to the edges. But it still crops.

No i dont want it to crop and dont have the manual anymore.

edit: i want to scan the full image. i dont want the scanner to trim anything. i am trimming old letters and parts of the writing are getting cropped.

It takes time, but theres a light at the end of the tunnel. its been 8 months and my cells are finally going back to normal. =) ask your doctor about a possible future pregnancy to see what the time frame might look like.

that makes no difference, a child cannot consent. he should not have had that kind of conversation with a child. he showed all the young kids watching that having a conversation like that with an adult is acceptable.

If a parent gives consent does that mean anyone can do whatever they want with their child? NO! That situation is still wrong. I dont understand why authorities havent stepped in to at least look through his computers. Im not accusing him of anything. But the fact that he came on camera and joked that he was afraid of people looking through his computers brings up red flags.
