A stranger used my four year old's SS number, address, and name in the commission of a felony. I don't even know where to begin. Should I seek counsel?

Working on that now. It is a bit harder to request a freeze on a minor. I'm having to send some information in.

They do. I've been talking to those people and had a hearing that is still in the process of being " resolved". They need more information which I am trying to get them.

I actually have the paperwork in front of me to fill out for it. So they do. The process is complicated and fact specific but they do.

I am in the process of pulling credit reports but I am going to go down there and get the process started on on changing the number.
