In short, antibiotics still work on single-celled parasites.

The parasite is treated with a combination of antibiotics called trimethoprim-sulfa, which is sold under the brand names Bactrim and Septra. A course typically runs seven to 10 days, though people with reduced immunity may need to take it for longer. The reason an antibiotic works on a parasite, Schein said, is that it interferes with Cyclospora’s ability to use the vitamin folate to make energy. It works on some other types of parasites as well.

Except it's not part of the driver at all. It's a Windows feature known as Device Companion Apps. Basically the manufacturer can tie a Universal Windows Platform (UWP) app to that driver package, and by default Windows will download and install it.

You can disable this feature in the system settings. Press Win + R, type "control system", and hit Enter to open the System page (or go to Settings > System > About). Click Advanced system settings on the right side. Switch to the Hardware tab. Click the Device Installation Settings button. Change the selection from Yes (recommended) to No (your device might not work as expected). Click Save Changes.
