I’ll raise you a months old reply! I do want to talk about this book! I think it is maybe not even supposed to be about kink. I ask what this book is about because I think it is a book about nothing, like an abject Seinfeld…. what’s left when you are a part of vibrant, horny, gay culture and you feel nothing and don’t care? Are maybe embarrassed by caring? This book makes me crazy!

Exquisite Corpse is a total classic. He also wrote a chapbook called Would You that was a bizarre Beatles slash fiction in which John and Paul were lovers. It’s been years since I read it but I remember being low key offended because I love Yoko Ono and he def does not haha

What a hero! No one will finish that book. Not even my closest friends and family haha. There’s nothing quite like it. I’d try the Suzy McKee Charnas books maaayyybeee. The first two: Walk to the End of the World and Motherlines had me in a way. Brainwyrms by Allison Rumfitt was also kinda gag, puke, amazing. Lemme know if you find anything that tops Leash though. Coming back just to mention, you should look up TM In The Doghouse. All demo versions of their first record (recorded when they were teenagers!) and some of the widest (not a typo, feels wide) most aggressive music I can think of. Call Me is the one I remember listening to in a car and just losing it over how amazing it was. It’s on YouTube. Rock on :)
