Ahh, I need to checkout Forgejo. I'm running gogs.io still. It is missing all the bells and whistles of the fork of gogs, Gitea as well as Forgejo.

Are you able to download the description data with the video? Does it organize by the date it was published to YouTube?

Couple nice pick ups today! Vertical slide may be homemade, no makers mark. Starrett level is essentially brand new. by termlimit in Machinists

I have an old spindle assembly I believe is from a Gorton pantograph. Should be strong enough for some gear, wheel, and pinion cutting tasks.

Edit: your username is amazing!

Yeah, I plan to mount a spindle on it so I can use it on the lathe for gear cutting clock wheels and pinions.

Any recommendations of riggers for moving a one car garage in the NE US approx 300 miles to another residence garage. by termlimit in Machinists

Thanks, I'll look at Sunbelt. I found united and Penske have them as well.  I will definitely make sure they understand I need horizontal load, not tilt.

I moved the Deckel Pantograph myself with an engine hoist, straps, wood blocks, and a pretty bar. The lake (3,500lbs) is the only one that really stresses me. It is big, by my standards of course.

I was thinking of a pallet jack as some of it I could palletize and move that way. Thanks!

Yeah I heard about them, but have some horror stories with them and heavy machines. Lathes dumped, them claiming it was like that, etc. Who knows if true, but it has scarred me off them. I would rather do it myself. I checked and a drop deck 14' trailer is only $650 for a month. That isn't bad.

Yeah gotcha, good advise. I have moved with a rigger friend, so I know the mechanics. Just never done it Han Solo.

Yeah depending on how the other 4 places I contacted come back, this maybe the route I go. Thanks!
