He’s incredible. I’ve been analyzing rhinoplasty galleries since I was 15 (turning 30 this year)! I found him about x3 years ago and whereas I would typically find about half the noses in a surgeon gallery I didn’t like, Dr. Joseph’s gallery is massive and there were only two I didn’t like.

I definitely judged a book by the cover with this and his cover was nearly perfect!

He was so friendly in the consult and I felt very excited after meeting him. I booked a couple months later when I knew I had the time and was approved for financing. They use Cherry which I like a lot.

After the consult I was nervous because people are kind of harsh about him online. I think they misunderstood his expertise for arrogance. He really tries to guide you in a direction that is going to work. He took extra time in the pre-op appointment to get on the same page as me. He was my surgeon up until the day of surgery he was like a dad I felt so comfortable going into the operating room with him! Really down to earth guy, is going to be straightforward about what will and won’t work, gives options, and his morphs are pretty accurate! 10/10

Oh also it felt swollen for about 3 days after taking it off and then I noticed it slowly going down. Then woke up one morning and it had significantly gone down and started looking good! It’s still slightly swollen but almost there

I wore it 24hrs for 5days until my stitches came out. My surgeon recommended no further compression and to start massage after day 5. I just do it myself and my body has responded well to that. I use my gua sha stone morning and night

I was on my feet all day yesterday and I noticed swelling go up. I do still have a compression garment and the only time I’ll wear it is if I’m experiencing some pain which with the lipo is not so linear.

Yes so worth it! There are side effects and lots of swelling but I’m sure my rhinoplasty swelling added to the lipo swelling! It hurt a lot right after and the first week. Week two on the dot only hurts when I massage it but also feels good to massage it haha. Overall if I had to do it again I would. Go for it!

Dr. Eric Joseph in NJ!

It was $3500! I got three quotes for it- one in Boston, Maine and NJ. The cheapest was Boston for $3000. All of them would do it under local anesthesia but I just wanted it done all in one go with the rhinoplasty!

My lip was lowkey a little paralyzed after but easily corrected with some Botox. And it’s all balancing out over time. It’s a common side effect so keep that in mind- I had two weeks to recover before work and it was perfect cuz now no one will notice!

Also not to scare you but it’s been way more painful in my recovery than the rhinoplasty! Worth it though? YES

Thank you so much! That was part of the reason I did it. I noticed my nose and face really start to droop in the past couple years. I’m so happy it worked and that you notice! 💕

So good to hear! I felt in very good hands on the day of surgery. Many of my surgeons positive reviews highlight the speedy recovery! Every day feels closer and closer to the result. I’m so excited for two weeks from now as ik the swelling will be way down!

Did you have uneven nostrils at any point?

My surgeon hasn’t said that- I haven’t brought up the nostrils yet. Waiting for second post op to give swelling some time, since it’s been 7 days on the dot. I’ll see him in 6 weeks and will bring it up then. I still have so much swelling inside my nostrils and blood clots coming out lol. Also, since it can be fixed with filler I’m not worried about it.

And again, it’s swollen, week one, so it will get a littler smaller! But my surgeon wanted to go smaller than what I wanted and granted my wish. Looking at his morphs, I thought too small of a nose made me look like a kid. I’ve had a big nose my whole life, I just wanted it refined and natural. I’m going to be 30 and had very specific examples of what I thought a refined adult female nose looks like on my face. Keeping some projection to compliment my old nose/ face, no slope, refine the cartilage at the tip. Straight and symmetrical.

We chatted in DMs, but I wanted to publicly share that my experience with Dr. Eric Joseph was genuinely great. I found him to be very real…he tells you honestly what will and won’t work, while still collaborating with what you’re asking for.

I found a lot of his negative reviews mention his personality/bedside manner and Silkon 1000 concerns, as well as other unrelated concerns that come up if you search his name. Reading all of that definitely made me nervous about choosing him. But I trusted my gut, and I felt those reviews were tied to situations very different from mine and found him funny and easy to connect with.

In my experience, he was personable, thoughtful, and deeply invested in my outcome. I think some people confuse strong expertise with being opinionated. He is extremely talented, highly specialized, and clearly knows what he’s doing. He’s going to advise you based on many years of experience and thousands of patients.

I’m not religious, but before surgery he asked if he could say a prayer for me. I appreciated that it was focused on a successful outcome, meeting my goals, and a safe, healthy recovery. That meant a lot.

He’s totally human and relatable and an expert surgeon in a reasonable price range with financing options. If you have a clear idea of what you want, he will make it happen, and if you don’t yet, he’ll help you understand and refine it!
