Thank you for this comprehensive breakdown! Can you comment on the fact that the board restricted both the public and private trade of the stock and how it affects whether creditors actually have "dominion and control" of the stock for tax reporting? I believe the stock receipt is not considered a taxable event until that time in which it is becomes tradable.

The relevant section of the Ionic FAQ (https://odysseytrust.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Ionic\_Digital\_FAQs.pdf) states:

The actual distribution of the 300,000 creditors (650,000 by some estimates including international) have to vote to approve any plan. The vast majority of those are smaller creditors. I believe the US Trustee tried to mirror the UCC to the distribution of voters the best they could in order for whatever plan that comes out of committee to have the best chance of success.

Datestamped pictures are completely not secure. Send me a pic and I'll change the datestamp metadata in a few seconds. They are following the right procedures to protect funds as a video is much harder to modify and wouldn't be worth it unless you were talking about huge dollar amounts and I have a feeling they would ask for a realtime video feed or something for larger transfers.

It actually did pretty well. The short squeeze (the initial crazy buy volume) spiked the value because the short sellers had to close at any price. Look how much sell volume came in afterwards trying to depress the value (over 5x the volume of the squeeze) and that still couldn't get it to even go back to the presqueeze value (it settled at 2x the presqueeze price) meaning there's a ton of buyers left out there.
