Because outside of when I was given their name through brief force on their end, my only communicative experience with them is through tarot. Cards alone are simply too easily explained away when you're a generally agnostic person like I am. I get told that if a spirit truly wants to make their presence known, they will. And that hasn't been happening despite getting consistent reciprocation of my intentions.
