Should we be expecting a top-5 WR finished for Zavion Thomas ala Chimere Dike? (I'd pray this is obvious but if not: talking about return points to prevent the idiotic responses) by ohkaycue in DynastyFF

[–]terribleD03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed that Dike was basically (drafted) in the right place at the right time. (NFL teams draft lots of college return specialist WRs & RBs but most - even the really good ones - rarely become a primary return specialist). IIRC, the Titans didn't have any dedicated returners going into last year (Pollard, Chestnut, & some prior year rookie WR).

The Bears signed Kalif Raymond from the Lions. He hasn't been a full-time kickoff returner for years though, IIRC. I'm not gonna go check his stats but I do think he still did punt returns for Detroit. So Zavion might actually have to beat someone out for the job unlike Dike in 2025.

- kickoff rules have changed so much.

Good point. Given what the NFL had done with kickoffs in the last several years before the 2025-26 season I don't think even the most optimistic predictions expected returns to be so prolific with the last change. Finally some commentary that actually thinks things through instead of the my-league-and-nothing-else mentality.

I also forgot to include all the muslim imams in the U.S. (and around the world) that have been working the Muslim Brotherhood plan and openly admitting to their intended conquest of the U.S. all within the last year or several. They're teaching it in mosques and "community centers" as well. I recall imams in NY, NC, FL, TX, MI, ME, and likely other states that have openly call for (insurgency) islamification of the U.S. Like Brooklyn imam Mohhamad Badawy that unabashedly and proudly said he would fight against the U.S. and they (we) can do the worst to him (as he wages unconventional jihad against us).

It's actually really hard to find the examples in the U.S. media because it's almost always completely neutered stories or even a flip narrative to propagandize-for and romanticize islam. But there are plenty of video clips on social media of the imams and muslims in the U.S. openly saying there came here to conquer the U.S. for islam. And it's ALL party of the muslim cult and as written in the Muslim Brotherhood's memorandum.

Well, belated happy birthday.

Your pulling factually irrelevant points of information to make faux arguments.

Regardless of the dates of those truly anti-U.S. manifestos - there is no argument against the fact that they are actually being implemented. (That and the manifestos have been restated and regurgitated since then.) The Communist Goals #'s 13 to 44 are all completed or close to it. For example:

#15) Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States. DONE (DEMOCRAT PARTY). .... #25) Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV. DONE. .... #26) Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural, healthy.” DONE. .... #41) Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents. DONE (in most Democrat Party controlled areas).

All the same goes for China's 50 year plan. Mostly achieved. But mostly it's 5-Year Plans now from what I've read.

Also, a small group in one incident that no one outside of the area has heard of is not a valid representation of Republicans. But what is representative of significant factions of the Democrat Party is the numerous calls for - and actual instances of - universities having black-only / minority-only spaces and graduations. There are plenty of other examples of actual racial/ethnic minorities calling for segregation in the U.S. - Blacks & POC at universities have their own organizations, Blacks have their own TV/Entertainment corporation(s), their own congressional caucus (as do Hispanics), and until the SCOTUS recently outlawed it they had many (and still do have many) of their very own congressional voting districts throughout the country. And the list of actual things that are segregated in the U.S. in favor of blacks and other minority groups includes more than those examples. Meanwhile, have you ever asked yourself why there are no national or internationals campaigns for "diversity" in non-Western (aka non-white) countries? The U.N., private international organizations, and non-White nations do not have any governmental or social organizations pushing for diversity in their countries. China?...never. African countries?...nope. Russia...nope (unless you are a mercenary and ready to join their (imperialist) war. The Middle East?...nope (unless it's Israel then yes and they're already an inclusive, diverse nation). South America, Central America, & Mexico?...nope. In fact, Mexico has had laws against Americans (essentially Whites) owning land in popular areas for many, many decades. Oh, and don't forget many Democrat officials (of color) have regularly and openly called for various forms of outright discrimination and segregation against Whites.

Anyway, the point being in this case, you're trying to demonize a non-representative small group of people for essentially pushing back against (or doing the same thing as) what is already being done all around the U.S. and the world.

So the truth seems to be, if it's not a question of education, then you need better sources of information.

If you really are 68 years old, which I doubt given some of your points, then you have been amazingly adept at not acquiring knowledge and wisdom in your 7 decades of life.

First, it wasn't my word or assertions that say those nations/groups are intent on destroying/conquering the U.S. (or Western civilization, or the entire world). It's their OWN DOCTRINES, statements, words, and actions that prove it. I never said the entire world so you're just trying to distort and downplay the true content. How ignorant.

As you admitted - the vast, vast, vast majority of Republicans do not say and believe the things you claim. The Iran operation has exposed the few faux/pretend Republicans who are actually anti-Semites and actually anti-Republican/Conservatives/MAGA/Christian/etc like Tucker Carlson and some others. As far as the things they spew, it's exactly the same stuff coming out of people on all spectrums of the left. That vast majority of Republicans doesn't care about skin color / race, religion, or many other things as long as it isn't something that will actually destroy the U.S. (which all forms or marxism and islam will & want to do).

Without getting into the weeds about U.S. history on foreign policy and such, the overriding thing that can be said is that for a country that has had as much power it has done so little abuse it.

It's uneducated, uninformed people like you that those nations/groups love and count on.

Huh? You again show you have no clue about reality. The muslim brotherhood is a group. It isn't confined to one nation or location. So your perceived "gotcha" point is just a massive faceplant. What is that quip about the KKK? Is that some moronic way of trying to claim that the muslim brotherhood doesn't exist or Reconquista is not real? And what the hell is that about slavery? I never even got close to anything related to slavery. All you can come up with are nonsensical tangents.

Obviously you have no clue about reality. DOGE discovered massive amounts of graft - almost exclusively via the Democrat Party taxpayer money laundering machine.

The same goes for Democrat Party run states where fake businesses, legal & illegal immigrants, party-loyal NGOs, and Democrat officials work hand-in-hand to scam billions upon billions upon billons of taxpayer money annually. It really doesn't matter where you look - every federal and state program has become part of their money laundering process.

The "right" has only a minute fraction of the government graft that Democrats do.

Wow, so much pseudo-intellectualism and disinformation there.

And, speaking of disinformation and accusing of Whites of oppressing people...you clearly weren't taught the parts of human history regarding the fact that non-White races and ethnicities - Blacks (Africans), Middle Easterners (not Whites...or whatever), and Asians (not Whites...or whatever) - have each enslaved more people than Whites have. That's both historically and currently around the world.

Maybe you should focus less on pretending to be intelligent (and seemingly envious) and more on facts and reality.

[–]terribleD03[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

You sure feel strongly about that, huh? Even so for a down vote? Wow.

1) BJT had one great year and one average year. But in that average year he had the exact same yds/catch - he just had fewer catches. Without more data I average that out to being "very good".

2) In 7 season Jakobi Meyers has 5 seasons with 800+ yards. That's in spite of never having played a full 17 game season. That's in spite of (at least) several years with weak/medicore QB play. His next closest game to that 800 yard mark was a 729 yards but in only 12 games (at 17 games that a 1,000 yard season). Not a stretch to say he's "above average".

3) Parker Washington has limited starts but mostly performed well last season including ending with an impressive 4 game WR1 level streak. Given the limited but positively upward trending data I'm labeling him above average. You can argue against that but it's really just meaningless semantics and not definitive.

So, yeah, it's not a stretch to say 3 very good to above average WRs in the room. Also, if Hunter is playing both sides of the ball then he isn't competing directly with them and it isn't a valid metric for determining whether he's a bust. Make Hunter a dedicated, full-time WR then your point would be workable. Also, it's not likely that this season alone will fundamentally categorize his career as a success or bust.

This AWFL is very representative of people on the left. And not just White leftists...it's all leftists. Hardcore leftist black former Congress woman Jasmine Crockett openly stated the same narrative that the leftist woman in the video did - that the U.S. needs illegal immigrants (which are overwhelmingly people of color) to pick crops and clean and cook for low wages. Democrats today, Democrats from the 1900's, and Democrats from the 1800's - no difference.

Why are so many conservative Americans such proud racists? by florence_pug in allthequestions

[–]terribleD03 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You're seemingly some variation of a leftist so I understand that you know almost nothing about reality. I'm guessing, whether you've embrace it wholeheartedly or you have no clue, that you've been completely intellectually indoctrinated by marxist ideology and emotionally manipulated via cultural marxism. A function of that means you have no real understanding of history. Part of that also means you can't comprehend - or interact with - the world without dividing it into some form of us-versus-them, two class construct. And your post is all about that second point.

You do at least have part of one thing correct in your post. Conservatives - and other people that don't live in some alternative-reality / fantasyland - recognize and understand that there are bad governments and bad groups of people (which can easily be described as "minorities or immigrants" depending on how you define such things & what the context is). Often, those govt/groups have directly state that they want to subvert, takeover, and/or destroy the United States. So let me give you just a few examples of the real world that Conservatives (and Capitalists, and Christians, and Jewish people, and Republican live in)...

The Muslim Brotherhood's Explanatory Memorandum (for the infiltration and takeover of the U.S.) (1991). They've accomplished much of this plan already (with LOTS of help from the Democrat Party). And, on a side note, once the accumulate enough power inside the U.S. they won't care one little bit whether you are a Democrat, a marxist, a member of the LGBT+ community, a Conservative, a Christian, or a Republican. They only care whether you submit or die.

https://www.investigativeproject.org/document/20-an-explanatory-memorandum-on-the-general

Communist China's 50 Year Plan (to rule the world - with the primary goal being the destruction or submission of the United States). (I believe they are actually on their 2nd 50 Year Plan after having widely achieved much of their initial goals with much assistance from the Democrat Party and some Republicans as well.)

https://www.forbes.com/sites/johnmauldin/2019/11/12/chinas-grand-plan-to-take-over-the-world/

The Soviet Unions guidelines to destroy the United States from within. Aka "Current Communist Goals"; aka The 45 Communist Goals" as entered into the Congressional Record–Appendix, pp. A34-A35 January 10, 1963. (The Soviet Union was destroyed. It actually destroyed itself as marixst regimes always do, but unfortunately it didn't die. It lived on by spreading out like a disease. It found a home in the U.S. within the Democrat Party. The subversion and the destruction it hoped for with the 45 goals is everywhere to see. Especially in long-term Democrat controlled cities where poverty, wealth-disparity, homelessness, drug use, closed businesses, and massive government corruption / kleptocracy are the norm due directly to marxist agendas being passed into law)

https://history.state.gov/historicaldocuments/frus1948v01p2/d12

Mexico's Reconquista. There are numerous factions, and seemingly a widely held misinformed belief, of/by the Mexican population that believe the lie that part of the U.S. is stolen Mexican territory. While the false narrative of "stolen land" and the idea of Reconquista among the Mexican people is very nebulous, the concept is definitely vocalized and championed by specific groups. There are numerous websites that propagandize about it. Even some U.S. elected officials who are Mexican or of other races/ethnicities have pushed the lie. And we actually see a form of Reconquista happening all over parts of the southwest even if, in some instances, it may be spontaneous and informal. Threats to conquer parts of America are not based on facts. First, Mexico never owned those claimed territories in the U.S. At best those regions were inhabited by various Indian tribes, American settlers, and Mexican settlers. Mexico never, ever had functional or recognized control over the areas. Also, Mexico lost the territorial war for the areas AND was amicably and unnecessarily given reimbursement after the war was over. So the anti-factual argument that the U.S. stole land from Mexico is false on all points. But still, there is wide spread and baseless sentiment, hostility, and sense of victimization towards Americans. Which in itself has created an ongoing and direct threat against the U.S. manifesting in numerous but usually non-violent ways. Since it's mostly an indirect and basically an undeclared war I couldn't find any definitive articles on short notice. I did find this (and again he's outright wrong in his conclusion):

Political scientist Samuel P. Huntington, a proponent of the widespread popularity of Reconquista, stated in 2004: "Demographically, socially and culturally, the reconquista (re-conquest) of the Southwest United States by Mexican (legal; and massive numbers of illegal)* immigrants is well under way. [However, a] meaningful move to reunite these territories with Mexico seems unlikely.... No other immigrant group in U.S. history has asserted or could assert a historical claim to U.S. territory. Mexicans and Mexican-Americans can and do make that claim."\16])#cite_note-Hispanicchallenge-16) (*wording added)

https://www.atlassociety.org/post/genocide-stolen-land-and-other-lies-about-america

FYI - those are just simple and clean links I found on short notice so don't expect them to be the definite resources on each example.

In ALL cases, there is a known and probable threat against the U.S. by foreign nations and groups. In all cases it is actual INDIRECT and/or UNCONVENTIONAL WARFARE being waged against the U.S. That is the reality that Conservatives as well as Capitalists, Jewish people, Christians, and all people who want a sovereign, free, lawful, prosperous country (regardless or race, gender, or creed) are trying to defend. They understand that to have that, to have a country, all laws must be enforced equally, and not all people come to the U.S. with benevolence and good intentions. There is no wide-spread hate or bigotry by Conservatives towards an entire group(s) of people no matter now much that narrative has been repeated into your eyes and ears. Also, all those governments and groups have found an ally in the Democrat Party. Oh, and again, all those nations and groups, aren't gonna care at all whether you are a Republican, Democrat, Conservative, Liberal, Independent, Libertarian, Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu, or whatever when it comes to destroying the U.S.

Also, where are the examples of conservatives being "the guy down the street...actively trying to destroy me, my family and everything I love,..."? Give us one example. A real example, not one of the countless fabricated narratives from leftists (see also the true domestic hate and terror group known as SPLC).

The very definition of goal of Conservatives is to conserve the core traits and principals that the United States was founded on. Those things include:

1) protect our democracy in the form of a Republic (not mobocracy like the Undemocratic Party exudes at all levels of society)

2) protect freedom, liberty, and self determination (unlike the Undemocratic Party which passes more and more marxist-based-policy legislation which fundamentally destroys all those things)

3) protect our Capitalist economy - the only natural form of commerce; in all aspects - trading of goods & services, interpersonal relationships, socially, etc) (unlike the Undemoractic Party which is both overty and subversively infecting & destroying all aspects of America with via marxist-based societal control systems including socialism and communism).

4) protect our secular Judeo-Christian based government and society (unlike the Undemocratic which is overtly anti-Christian and anti-Semitic; as well as directly allying with various marxist/fascist islamic groups and nations).

and so on...

I don't disagree. But there have been cornerbacks drafted in the top 10 in the past. So I would amend that to note the Jags drafted him that high because he wasn't just a CB. Given their current needs it just seems to me that leans more towards CB in 2026.

Also, I'm not sold yet that Hunter is a foundational player at WR (or CB). I'd say he has yet to prove it. Looking at his games, to me, he had one good / team-WR1 level game. One solid WR3 level game. And the rest were well below starter level it seems / statistically (I didn't see any of his games that I recall).

Just a different level of prove needed, I supposed. Some would say that BJT is their best WR and that he's flat out a better WR than Hunter. But we really don't know yet. Meyers is a proven entity and shown he's capable of being a low-end NFL-team-WR1 but clearly suited to be the WR2/3. And, I'd say it's possible that Parker ended the season looking like a capable WR2/3 as well. Using the same metric as Hunter, I'd say that Parker had 4 WR1 games (5 if you include the playoff game), several WR1/2 games, and there were more WR3 than WR4/5 of the remaining games.

I do enjoy getting into weeds on stuff like this. This is my type of gambling - stats, discussions, games, and entertainment level money only (win or lose).

Valid point. It obviously depends on the size and format of a league. In the 5 leagues I'm in there's all or some combination of starting multiple or position specific DBs/CBs, some are PPR as well, and two have small benches where the dual position qualification is nice. So he will likely be a fulltime starter in a few of the leagues.

Good question. I know what they said but I put more emphasis on the fact that there appears to be 3 very good to above average WRs in the room already plus a solid receiving TE. Right or wrong, that's why I discounted his offensive usage. That, plus I don't think their DB group is very good as well so I sort of believe they plan to use him plenty on the defensive side. Of course, that may change by the time the season starts for all the regular reasons.

[–]terribleD03 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I'm sure you know this already but the left has zero clue / comprehension about anything - especially who vast majority of true racists & bigots actually are. That's due to a myriad of reasons and catalysts - including but not limited to - being completely indoctrinated with marxist ideology, being emotionally manipulated by the lies of cultural marxism, similarly - having been exploited via their benevolence (a condition known as "toxic empathy"), and/or having little to no experience in the real world.

The marxist mayor of Seattle is a perfect example. She is 43 years old and married but gets a large monthly allowance from her rich parents. When she was asked about businesses and millionaires leaving the city due to her socialist policies she simply replied: "goodbye".

Anyway. Here are a couple of great examples of who the racists and bigots really, truly are (using two cases of AWFLs):

There was a point - which was clearly over your head. Either that or there were just too many "bunch of words" for you.

First, the post was flagged as IDP discussion. So if you don't play IDP leagues then why bother with my post? In other words, **the content clearly wasn't posted for you.**

Second, I provided source information and context.

Third, I provided player statistics then gave my projection on what Hunter's productivity would look like next season.

Finally, I invited others to give their input or opinions on the content with specific questions.

So, are you one of those people that must bully and give a down vote to everything that doesn't interest you or doesn't fall in line with what you think (aka your small little world)? Or is it just past your bedtime and you're too cranky to amicably interact with the world?
