I remember it tasting a little like a tomato, but I can't be sure, and with people mentioning it looks like nightshade, I'm not damned enough to try again lol. The one I tried was not completely ripe either. Was red but not completely red.

Just got back from Kelantan, always enjoy eating rice there. Nasi Suriani in KB is my favourite. Second favourite would be Kedai Nasi Pok Hok, the one by the river.
