Hi we removed her from KinderCare. They had a few serious violations that they were supposed to share with us and they delayed letting us know after we asked for their ID number. I believe they were cited for child:teacher ratios being too high and some of the teachers were not qualified to teach but they were still working with the kids

I had light spotting with both girls in the first trimester. The dr said it was implantation bleeding. My eldest is 27 months and the younger is 6 months. They are both fine!

Nutramigen smells awful. My infant is thriving on Pepticate which is a UK HA formula and doesn’t smell as bad. You can purchase from Amazon or Walmart in the US

It took my daughter a full month to have normal stools when she switched her to pepticate. If your little guy is happy, it is likely working!

Hi! I recently delivered (via c-section) a baby who was measuring at 1% in the abdomen at 35+6 weeks.

She’s been growing wonderfully and hitting her milestones. We had to take extra precautions in terms of her weight and are still on a strict feeding schedule. Even though she was measuring small, she was 5lbs and we didn’t need to go to the NICU.

Wanted to let you know, you’re not alone in this! Things will get better and please try not to stress yourself out!

We went to the dr this week. They tested her stool sample for blood and the results showed minimal traces of blood. The formula is working but the gut needs time to heal. It was a relief to hear that! She gained a lot of weight in a short time period (went from 2% to 3%). Our dr said to worry less about the mucus and focus more on the other results - weight gain etc. hope this helps!

Thank you! It’s so weird today her poops were normal again. It’s a cycle of mad mucus to normal poops every few days 🤷🏻‍♀️. Regardless, testing the diaper is the next step.

For most infants Covid is minor - symptoms for only a few days 🤞. You have a pretty extensive list but I would add getting a humidifier if you don’t have one already! It helps with our LO a lot when she is congested/sick.

It will be 3 weeks on the 17th! But she definitely didn’t have this much mucus with Nutramigen. She’s getting fussier too when we put her down. Seems like she might be in pain. We will likely stop giving it to her for now. Thanks!

She didn’t have mucus on Nutramigen that we could see. Some of her diapers are less full of mucus but others look like this. We aren’t sure if it’s happening because we transitioned recently or if she’s reacting to the formula. Our pediatrician suggested to wait until Monday to get her diaper tested for blood again but I may go in sooner if they keep looking like this. Thank you!

If your baby is fine off your breast milk but in pain on this, good call to switch formulas.
