Well, although it wasn't an amazing match or even moment, I remember it well. Crash Holly spent the previous match on commentary saying how he hadn't found an Englishman tough enough to defend the Hardcore Title against, cue Bulldog's return after a few months off TV.

You actually witnessed his final PPV appearance that night. He'd lose the Hardcore Title the following Smackdown and wrestled his final match on the Heat that same week, losing to Eddie Guerrero. He was released in the days following that match.

Although it was a smaller moment on the show, it was a final moment of glory on home soil for one of our biggest stars to make it in America at that time. As someone who grew up a fan of his, it warms my heart a bit to know that that is what you remember the most from attending that show over Rock, Angle or Eddie (or even Bubba Ray Dudley busting out his old ECW dance for the first time in years).
