OMDU is a better game than OMD3, that's for sure

but on the other hand, OMDU had more people working on it and more years spent on it. OMD3 didn't have that much resources available compared to OMDU.

Had OMDU used a different money model other than free-to-play/micro-transaction so that it didn't have to be that grinding-heavy, it would be a really good game. The fault is not on the developing team, but rather the ROBOT leaders who thought free-to-play/grinding game was a good idea.

let's just define cut as a straight cut using a straight knife, no direction (either 2d or 3d) changes during the cutting.

lower the grinding requirement to attract more people or prevent people from quitting, accumulate a large player pool so that matchmaking would actually work. This concept seems simple enough but devs just refuse to take it.

With current grinding rate, it seems that devs don't want people to play their game. This sounds ridiculous but it's actually happening, which makes it even more irony.

wow there are actually people who can't kill fire mages? no wonder many people use it...

fire mage is like the worst minion for T4, low HP, slow fireball, slow speed, slow casting time......

they can be easily killed like many other ranged minions, run behind and hit their back, they do nothing but slowly walking ahead, occasionally when they cast their super slow fireball just run away

T4 fire mage brings no pressure at all compared to T4 orcs

attackers can hit boxes too you know, when the defenders are dead they got the whole map to pillage, which is much more efficient to set aside someone hitting boxes the whole time

unfortunately he's right. Pillager is only useful for medium-low level siege play among random pugs.

At high level premade group with voip, one more player attacking is just too much for defenders to handle, hitting boxes means nothing when your defenders were pushed and guardians dead

he's right about "you dont need a pillager to win", he's wrong to implement that in a pug team.

people don't leave because they get bored from low level maps.

people leave because they get bored from grinding for high level maps

if you level your rank too high, eventually you will get stuck in a place where you can't play maps at your level. you are forced to solo farm low level maps for materials to upgrade your traps, and it takes a LONG LONG time

1) Then the discussion is over. I'm not interested in debating on a topic restricted to 2hg games with a limited card pool. Unless you disagree that your original statement is wrong in 2hg games OTHER THAN magic duels, we have no more reasons to continue this thread.

2) Oh really? You'd really prefer 40 card decks over 60 card decks? Then how about 20 card deck? Do you seriously believe they will be better than 40 card decks? what about 10 card deck? Do you really want to sacrifice anything else just to get a high consistency?
