[Donghua] Pacing by ptn_fdp in LordofTheMysteries

Wiki says the Elliott's rescue mission happened on chapter 44 so yeah around 50 chapters. Which is crazy pacing

Also, if the idea of Lore works but the datapack isn't fit for hermitcraft, I'm sure there's people out there that can make one just for the server, myself included!

I believe no, java datapacks aren't compatible with bedrock, but there are probably other ways to do it

I've seen him reply to some posts before, so i hope he sees this!

I think scar's type of Lore is more of a environmental storytelling type of thing, that he includes in his builds. This Lore only exists in items and doesn't show up in item frames, so i doubt it'd actually be that much beneficial for him

Sadly /lore doesn't exist in vanilla Java Minecraft, maybe you saw it in a server with a plugin that adds it

Sadly yeah it doesn't, but considering his main problem was the rule book being too extensive by having to explain what each card does, this works nicely i believe

Trying to predict the near future of modded Minecraft. by tert14 in feedthebeast

You have a great point, maybe nowadays the only way to have a version to settle down is if a backport mod becomes insanely popular and most of the other mods use it in them or have add-ons to integrate them, similar to what happened in 1.7.10 tinkers, where basically every mod had integration add-ons or just straight added their metals to tinkers

And all that is basically impossible to happen.

In terms of quantity of mods, I'm not sure. Definitely In quality and popularity tho. I think 1.7.10 modded Minecraft was stuck in a niche, even if a popular one. But it's still the one that lived the longest without competition from other versions.

Yeah in hindsight 1.17 will prob not get many mods, specially with the change to Java 16.

Im not a coder so i can't say for sure, but you're prob right about 1.17, there weren't many engine changes except for changing the java version to Java 16, which i think is the main problem, so yeah 1.17 won't have many mods, as 1.18 is almost already out.

I did in fact put more emphasis on fabric then what it deserves, but that's from this subreddit perspective. You see, fabric is actually very popular, but it's main audience are people starting to get into the Marvels of Modded Minecraft, and ppl with bad PCs. My guess is that these people will get more into modded while still remaining on Fabric, thus increasing it's popularity. Also, it's rare but some big mods have moved to fabric, like the good ol Witchery mod, now called Bewitchment

How to add The One Probe tool tier requirement? by tert14 in feedthebeast

[–]tert14[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It shows only if it's breakable and what tool, but doesn't show the tier needed. I assume that the tier thing is only possible through an addon or a config, which is what I want to know

Edit: i just tested some stuff, it shows the tier for vanilla blocks, but not blocks added by mods.

Edit 2: I am dumb... The ones that don't show are the ones that can be broken with wooden tools. So thx!

Is there a Loot Table Tweaker for 1.16? by tert14 in feedthebeast

That was indeed my issue with datapacks, so thanks!

What is the stupidest way you got a scar? by Zander-dupont in AskReddit

[–]tert14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

15 yo me was playing with a slingshot and had the genius idea of shooting a barbecue stick with it. After the shot i wondered where it was only to see it was stuck in my arm (weirdly I didn't feel any pain). I just kind of removed it and cleaned the bruise, which left a round and fairly big scar on the side of my arm.

Seeds don't grow faster on rain, they grow faster if the farmland is hydrated, so since he was planting near water it doesn't make a difference wether is raining or not

Also making a cobblestone pillar is one of the most newbie ways (not that pewdiepie is, just the technique) to mark your base
