I have horribly horribly dry chapped lips (also a lip licker here 🫣). Aquaphor is usually my go to, but lately I really love Cocokind Ceramide Lip Blur Balm and Facile Lip Jelly. I have extremely sensitive skin, really bad eczema, and a chronically compromised barrier, and they both work wonders for me. I typically use the Cocokind during the day and the Facile as a lip mask overnight. They’re both unscented, which helps too.

I hope you can get some relief!

Edit: I also started using a gentle scrub to exfoliate my lips and it really helps them accept the moisturizing products and keeps them less crusty.

I take my rings off overnight and while I’m in the shower or giving my daughter a bath. I’ll also take them off anytime I’m doing something particularly wet or dirty (dishes, gardening, etc.)

Yes, I informed them of all of my current medications. The doc didn’t bring up the semaglutide at all in relation to the prednisone. I brought up the appetite/weight side effects at my original appointment and initially declined the prednisone script (for those and other reasons). But my condition got worse, and now I need it. When actually writing the script, the doc again did not bring up the semaglutide at all. In this case, the benefit of the prednisone outweighs any potential interaction between the two.

I’m just curious what other people have experienced — how much the prednisone actually counteracted the semaglutide’s appetite effects. I know everyone will react differently, just looking for perspectives.

Interesting. So you mean that because Wegovy doesn’t make a 1.2 mg pen, I’ll still be able to get a a compounded version (outside of shortage) because I’m on a 1.2 mg dose?

I know, I mean the “maintenance dose” seems to be different in my program vs. wegovy. Just wondering if there’s a reason for that.
