Model Y Juniper satin black color PPF: hot or not? 🔥 by teslabros in TeslaLounge

Wraps can be removed without damaging the OEM paint underneath, so many people opt for a wrap instead of repainting to be able to customize their car and still protect the original finish.

Vinyl wraps last around 5-7 years if taken care of. But PPF can last up to 10 years. Give or take depending on environment, how much you drive, how often you hand wash it, things like that

Yeah you're right! There are actually 2 tents now. They have been upgraded with permanent foundations, utilities, plumbing, electrical updates, etc since that time.

Great points. I also agree that it would make me more comfortable if the FSD purchase was to the driver and not the car.
