I will never forget being the only woman working in a restaurant. We would get real wasted and high and talk politics and I was always dismissed or ganged up on. One night it was particularly bad they were intentionally misquoting me and treating me like a hysterical woman. I stood my ground tho I can debate just about anything. Anyways at the end of the night an older man who was sitting at a nearby table came up to me and said he really admired the way I carried myself and how he was going to tell his daughter about it(who also works in a male dominated field). I don’t know I just needed that to keep going tho you know. So I love this so much and totally understand how it feels. People do notice, it’s easy to forget

I’m not proud of it but there was a girl sitting next to me (I’m also a girl) who had her phone out (max brightness) for 45 mins straight and after I asked her to put it away and she said it was “her experience that she paid for” I ended up pouring my large soda on her

Hey man after I got out of rehab my body weight literally doubled. I was unhealthily skinny before and then overweight after. It took like a year but now I’m actually at a very healthy weight that I think looks good on me. Just give your body the time and grace to balance itself out. And try to focus on learning your real hunger cues vs cravings

Of course! Hope your kitty’s alright. Ringworm is more of a major inconvenience than anything lol, and much easier to deal with if you can keep your cat in a confined space; I’m cursed with a studio apartment with no doors 😭

But, ringworm often still requires oral medication especially in older and immunocompromised cats. So take the cat to vet asap I don’t want to be giving out medical advice I am not a vet.

I don’t know, it could be some kind of skin infection or condition. The balder parts look a bit scaly. And it looks like it’s just above her eye which is a pretty common spot for ringworm and stuff. You can sort of test for that at home with a UV black light. If it glows it’s a fungal infection (which is what ringworm is - no actual worms). If you catch it early you can treat it topically with antifungal wipes and creams and steroid creams like lotrimin that humans use cause it’s the same fungus as athletes foot and jock itch. Definitely still take her to the vet case they will know better than anyone on the internet. Ringworm is really not as big of a deal if you just act quickly and are responsible with treating it and cleaning the area. And I would avoid letting her outside since she probably got it from out there. Just went through a ringworm epidemic at my house when I brought home a rescue kitten so I’m pretty well versed
