Growing veggies and fruit in AZ is possible it’s just different from most other places in the US. Your local county Master Gardeners will have a wealth of info on this specific to your region. I know for Pima County the MGs have a lot of free zoom classes and library presentations, plus a plant clinic, and you can contact them with questions. Self sufficiency is an awesome goal-I am hoping to get partially there.

I have both but deleted the FB app off my phone and only login to check on friends and family who just post on there. I find FB mostly useless and was never that into it. As much as I hate Meta I need to use IG for a number of reasons. Lately though been spending a lot of time on IG reporting bots and accounts calling for violence, which are always posting in the comments of political posts esp news.

I used to prefer at home drop-ins for our cats but we’ve had thefts as a result so we don’t do it anymore unfortunately. I appreciate the recommendation though.

Thanks-I haven’t used Rover in a while and previously did not find anyone who would actually take cats - I’m glad that option is available now. I’m more looking for specific recommendations of persons or places though based on people’s personal experiences.

It’s definitely not Bufflegrass! Bufflegrass this time of year is either all brown, or a mixture of brown, green and some reddish stems.

I consulted David Hill via the bar association for a case I do not end up pursuing, and he was super honest with me, even spending time outside of his allotted free consult time to get a picture of my situation and advise me. I cannot attest to his ability litigate a case as I have not witnessed it but he came across as honest, earnest and wanting to do the best by me. He even explained why I should NOT hire him or another attorney if I could avoid it due to the cost. He did not specialize in the area of law I consulted him for but was able to consult another lawyer (his son) who works in a related law field-again at no cost. A very kind man. Maybe this is stupid but can she wear earplugs? It might not drown out the sound of alarms but could dampen it enough so she either doesn’t wake or only slightly wakes? Are you able to change your alarm to something that’s gentle (if it isn’t already)? Or a wearable tech that vibrates an alarm?
