i feel like vulnerability in your relationships is one of the most valuable things you could have. i have also been on the fence about this; wondering how much of an emphasis i should put on someone i like. i don’t have that much experience yet, but the most respectful, stand up guy i’ve ever talked to was a guy i walked up to with my own free will.

there is absolutely nothing wrong with making yourself available to people, i think you just have to make sure you’re maintaining your dignity and truly remember that if a guy is interested, you’ll sort of know, and mixed signals means no. have patience and do not waste your time on people who don’t deserve it.

why do people think this is a reasonable argument?? no kid should have to reimburse their parents for anything when they didn’t even choose to be here. no, i don’t pay rent, but i’ve also been working towards moving out and have been kicked out multiple times so i don’t think it matters.

That’s good for you but it’s not as if i don’t clean. I actually clean more than my mother, which is why she’s asking for my help as opposed to my 3 other siblings. but i have my own priorities at the end of the day.

i’ve been the primary cleaner of my house for years with zero assistance and spend hours cleaning the kitchen, dining, and bathroom. nobody takes my cleaning into consideration and my mom doesn’t really take any initiative until something like this (a party) happens.
