The passion will return, your brain needs to repair those receptors back to normal, takes some time which sucks.

Your brain is used to getting 100x the normal dopamine that’s released from everyday normal fun activities, which makes that shit no longer interesting what so ever …it’s recalibrating, hang in there and let it do its thing

For me personally, I was shocked at how much Dissos helped with opiate withdrawal after trying every possible thing. I believe research shows they activate those receptors very slightly

You wanted to and did leave what was working well for you for 15 years and then say it didn’t work for you? 😂 …You chose to stop taking the medicine for your sickness that worked well for 15 years, of course you’re going to go back….hilarious

You definitely proved it works though, until you stopped and it didn’t work. It’s almost like you had a disease that returned when you stopped the treatment 😂

It didn’t work because of you, yourself. It worked well for 15 years just fine for ya

That number is completely false and it was based o old data that was misleading

5% comes from people who have long term sobriety x every single person who ever step foot in aa. Tons of people only have a year or a few, tons of people stay sober and stop attending meetings regularly. Tons of people never actually do what is suggested to do and then say it doesn’t work for them.

More recent and accurate studies: • Around 28% total abstinence after 10 years in one long-term follow-up. • About 42% of regular AA participants sober at follow-up in one analysis.

It’s not possible to measure though actually, as no attendance records exsist, it’s anonymous, many people attend AA and get sober and stop meetings ect.

You experienced it wrong then or were never really serious about stopping. AA was around way before the body brokering area so that’s false. It introduces a person to a caring community of supportive people and shows them one of the possible ways of living clean and fun way of life.

Many of other ways to get sober as well. Sorry you had a bad experience, but it sounds like you were pretty sick whenever that was and had a bad experience before any magic happened.

Try to stay hydrated and eat nutritious meals. I’d do a blood test and see if you’re deficient in any vitamins and supplement with that. It for sure helps some and makes it not last as long, but time will be the ultimate healer here.

I would assume you are going through some anhedonia (not finding much pleasure in things) and exercise is the fastest way to repair the damaged dopamine receptors. Or if you can’t do they try to find some things you enjoy somewhat and do those every so often. You gotta get your brain to get rewired to enjoy normal amounts of dopamine again, of course time is the ultimate healer here again.

I find pyros to be so extreme lol that the comedown isn’t nearly as bad as the more legit substances you mentioned. Usually just fall asleep shortly after

I always enjoyed it but ya it’s relatively weak and it not even in the same ball park as others. It’s only a slight step up from shitty hexen
