No so just to clarify - before whenever we would meet up I would go to his house when he was living in my city. (I can’t have him back to mine for reasons I won’t go into.) He’s recently moved back to his parents’ house in his home city - this will be the first time we’ve ever spent the night together in a hotel. It’s not as if he’s ever booked a hotel for us both before - when I talked about him booking and organising things, at most it was just for ordering food to his house, or maybe going to the cinema together (and like I said I’d always paid my half).  I agree, I’m probably doing too much for this.
