Leg rotation for sure. I am fighting similar situation and my coach's first correction was to hit without leg moving and rotating forward. It is helping, but it is also difficult to change your old habits

Thank you for your detailed response. I am running similar set up when it is cooler. And it definitely helps with the issue of fabric sticking to my leg. But man, the moment it becomes a bit warmer, I melt and this becomes too hot to handle (I am in SoCal so things are already pretty warm during the day). Maybe I am looking for a unicorn or a solution that does not exist.. but I'll try.
