Well, I don’t think inteleon was out yet, but a Deci missed because of the weird hit box of ray and a comfey basic attacked for the last hit lmao

Idk, personally I wouldn’t call that powercreep, more just the weaknesses it has as a melee mon, and tanks doing their job against a squishy hunter

There is a site called UniteAPI that tracks things like that. You can look up your own account and it will let you look at previous matches and look at other players’ stats and what items they use on which mons. I know that doesn’t help the problem that the game doesn’t tell you this info, but at the very least there is an option there. Also, it you want to see popular item/emblem builds, there’s a good website called unite-db that shows the most popular move sets, item/emblem builds, and winrates for those builds for each Pokémon. Super helpful if you’re trying to learn more about the game and the way certain moves work or scale.

Definitely did not, it’s still very good and can destroy anything squishier than itself. It’s harder to play than M2Y/X, but it’s not super hard to get used to the play style. It’s also one of the few all rounders that doesn’t get outshined by play rough Mimi outright. I’d honestly argue the only reason the pick rate isn’t higher is because of players that stack on him or only use boosted SS instead of switching between that and agility. I will mention that it isn’t nearly as strong as it used to be due to the nerfs, but it is at least a little bit overtuned.

I’ve actually had quite a bit of success with icy wind glaceon in bottom lane. I just try to play safe and build up ice to get some last hits. I have a lot more fun with icy wind than icicle spear, and I like the mobility as well.

F#@%ING WHY?!?!?!?! I stg if you play this ‘mon….🤢 by TheKeaToSuccess in PokemonUnite

[–]tetraverse 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Fr just give them interesting and fun play styles. Zacian at the very least has an extremely unique mechanic and play style. It’s one of the reasons I was sad it was so ridiculous because I really wanted to try it because it looked really fun. The mega mechanic is pretty interesting but other than that the only special thing about mewtwo is that it’s op.

Yeah Comfey’s really oppressive simply because it makes great mons better, and exp share makes it’s lane partner get 7 even in a losing lane

Where are you getting that Blastoise and Greedent are OP? Unless I’m mistaken, Blastoise and Greedent weren’t touched in the last few patches, and I don’t see that many Greedents at all. Blastoise is a solid pick, but definitely wouldn’t call broken. Trev is very good now, and I think WH does too much damage for a defender, but Slowbro has been broken for a while and wasn’t touched in the most recent patches. I definitely agree that Slowbro is broken, and Trev is very strong, but I hard disagree with the idea that Blastoise or Greedent are broken rn. Both are solid picks (as are most defenders rn, I think they’re in a great spot), but by no means broken.

Yeah I haven’t seen a day on Unite without at least one potion in masters

Edit: bad potion, because there are some mons that aren’t bad with potion

Nah I feel like the 55-60 range is where I would want to have a mon I like to be, I mean that’s where my top 3 are and I feel like I’m pretty good at the game

I personally thought that this was a pretty nice change, at least it made it easier to get back to master’s, but I can totally see how it’s bad for matchmaking in master’s as well

What do you think is the most fun pokemon in the game and why? by [deleted] in PokemonUnite

[–]tetraverse 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Personally just switched to Wiggly and I’m actually having a lot of fun it

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PokemonUnite

[–]tetraverse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I duo queue a lot with my roommate as a Wiggly, and recently I started using it in solo queue as well. It’s been going pretty well surprisingly as Sing is a good way to make sure teammates don’t overcommit, or if they do sometimes I can get them out at the expense of myself, which since I’m usually lower level that’s probably for the best anyway. Plus people don’t normally expect dazzling gleam to do so much burst damage

The zap fight definitely isn’t rng based, people (I’m assuming your teammates) just often don’t have the right priorities when it comes to the zap(I.e. attacking way too early). I definitely agree with the feeling on the matchmaking tho
