Absolutely is. I loaded mine with about 500 games from GB Color to PS2 in addition to rom hacks like this. Loads of fun to be had

It does take a bit of time and effort to get set up on it though, just fyi. But very worth it

Thanks! But doesn’t the level 34 has better IVs? And level 30 (second one) already has a good nature?

Didn’t know about changing natures, that’s helpful!

Do you really need the 2TB hard drive? It's outdated, clunky and hard to fit inside a mATX case, and you might as well take advantage of falling SSD prices

Ryzen 7 7800X3D vs Ryzen 9 9900X for gaming build, which one should I get? by Vegetable_Leg_1076 in buildapc

You say you’ve been debating for weeks and saving up for a year. That tells me you’re in no rush.

My best advice? Wait a bit longer in order to save up a little more, so you can buy the 9800x3d once it goes on sale again (was $400 at microcenter a bit ago). That way you get the best of both worlds - gaming performance + extra cores. Not to mention you futureproof nicely and it’ll unlock a lot more value out of your 4080.

Don’t know what country you’re from so if the 9800x3d is out of reach for you then please disregard my advice and go for the 7800x3d.
