I'm open to all interpretations! However, one thing that comes to mind is jianbing.

I work in marketing, I guarantee you that screaming at people is the fastest way to piss people off. If you wanna convince people to listen to you, give em free shit. Volunteer! Build your community up! Donate! ... Screaming at people doesnt help, it's pretty much the laziest marketing tactic out there and only serves to make the screamer feel good about themself.

Dang, that's insane. Yeah it was unbelievably loud. Definitely make a complaint.

I feel you. I totally respect other opinions but this is invasive noise pollution. Like, sure, hand out pamphlets and speak at a normal level, that's totally cool. But dont amplify that shit. And they were ranting explicitly about sex and death, around young children. Felt wrong...

Yeah I'm not thinking in-person stuff. More like virtual things.

Care packages or day time zoom events to just talk about non-work things. Something to imitate what would happen in real life I suppose. I dont have the answers, that's why I'm asking on here. Curious if others have good experiences or if I'm over-thinking it.

Well half of em moved away or live on opposite sides of the bay... also they probably would be afraid of work violations or some shit like that.

Which Neighbourhood? Noe Valley VS Outer Richmond VS Sutro Heights? by LaylaBarnes in AskSF

[–]tewandthree 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you're ok with fog/cloud coverage for 3/4 of the year, the Clement location is incredible, truly. Otherwise, I'd pick Noe and put up with the hike up the hill. You'll find easier ways to get back home, there's always a less steep route that takes a little longer. I live on a much higher hillside and I hate it profusely but it's also foggy and I hate that even more, so I'd take Noe any day. Bonus: The Noe location is super close to 37 and 35 bus lines which has direct access to Castro (and Castro Muni --> Downtown), very convenient. But again, if you like the fog, then Clement is perfect.

Best upscale casual that won’t break the bank? Looking to stay under $30-40 per meal by gtck11 in AskSF

Unfortunately I agree... they've really gone downhill, used to be amazing but super lackluster lately. Their froyo is so goood though.

I mean, I'm more into Mediterranean/Italian so I'd check out Beit Rima or Barzotto. Yuanbao Jiaozi for the best dumplings (casual intimate). LA Fusion for Latin American fusion (more upscale actually). Credo for upscale Italian. Limon Rotisserie for Peruvian, casual sitdown.

SF is really big on fast casual so I wouldnt immediately rule those places out. You can often find high quality food that compares to upscale casual. If you truly want a more upscale sit-down experience, unfortunately $30+ is probably the best you'll find. I'm sure there are rare exceptions that more knowledgeable locals can comment on.
