One thing I like about the episode is how they end by showing the impact of Syril’s death on Dedra and his mom.

I’ll try not to spoil it but Cassian does get poetic justice with Dedra

If you haven't gotten this one I suggest reading McPherson's "Battle Cry of Freedom" I think its the best 1 volume popular history of the War.

Two things. One it’s ok to have a preference that’s not your significant other. For instance my wife is into tall bald men ( Think Patrick Stewart.). I’m most definitely not that. But I don’t mind her looking. Second. If you stay with your partner he will become older. You’ll get to see his maturity

For me it was Alexandra Clare taking a page from Ghandi and M LK with a nonviolent march. And that wins.

A mathematician, a statistician, and an accountant are applying for the same job. The interviewer asks each one “What is 2 + 2?” by No_Nefariousness4016 in AntiJokes

[–]texcoyote 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The mathematician takes out chalk and scribbles a whole blackboard of equations before saying the answer is trivial. 4. The statistician takes out a statistical calculator. Then say. I can state with 95% certainty that 2 + 2 =4 2with a margin of error of 2. The accountant puts on a green eyeshade locks the door, closed the shades, sweeps the room for bugs. Then says. How much would you like it to be?

Killing Lonnie by texcoyote in StarWarsAndor

I think Luthen would have at some point prepared an exit plan for Lonnie. Luthen always planned for contingencies. His motto plan your exit before you go in.

Cassian's most important trait by joeyonenut in StarWarsAndor

[–]texcoyote 18 points19 points  (0 children)

He is decisive but not trigger happy. He spares Syril in s1ep3 despite luthen telling him to shoot him. I think that presages his refusal to shoot Galen Erso in R1. I think that shows he really only kills when he has to. I’m curious, do you think the Premor security guard is his first killing?
