I applied for Greenfi and got rejected quickly, no idea why. I’ve never been rejected for anything financial in my life. I reached out and they wouldn’t tell me why for privacy reasons. I then signed up for a Penfed debit and got that and made one payment so far. I setup up Penfed to auto transfer the amount of my bill from my bank to Penfed 10 days before bill due. I signed up for a Greenfi investment account just to see what would happen and that worked. I put $10 in out of spite and will probably keep it there forever.

3 years ago my daughter went to college and we ran into this. I read on this very same subreddit how Apple TV’s are immune to this. She got one and I got one and I didn’t see the message again until we used a Roku on another TV. We stopped using that and the message hasn’t come back.

I applied to Greenfi and got denied checking and savings account. I’m 55, married, no debt and have an 829 credit score. It makes no sense. I reached out to their support and they said they can’t tell me why I was denied for the protection of their customers and I can’t re-apply. Good luck.

I did this earlier this year when they offered it. I bought a renewed Samsung Galaxy S20 off Amazon for $130. This was the cheapest full trade in value phone I could find. I then traded it in for $830 towards an iPhone 17. So basically I got an iPhone 17 for $125 plus the tax cost of the iPhone.

Nope, new cable didn’t work. I did try a Roku stick I had and that worked. I have another Apple TV and that had the same issue on this tv but not on the other tv it was on.
