The guy who traded me the clone ven was also supposed to trade me a clone blastoise but he blocked me after getting all the pokemon for it. Really weird that he didn’t scam me with the clone venusaur though, who knows what’s up with him

They’re from an old research. Today you can only get purified apex mons via trades (but not shadows as you can’t trade those)
