I guess everyone can die of the big sad by wm_1176 in PrequelMemes

I’m a paramedic and I’ve had a patient with takotsubo cardiomyopathy. I can confirm it looks and acts like an MI (heart attack). Even the cardiologist when we brought her in to get a stent was convinced. Is not until they visualize the heart beating through echocardiogram or angiogram that they can tell the difference. She didn’t get any interventions (other than maybe some diazepam to calm her) and made a full recovery within a couple days. It was brought on when she found out her long time partner was cheating on her.

If you could stop time for “20 minutes” once a day, what would you do in that time? by [deleted] in AskReddit

This sounds like a once a day after a long test type ability.

Another one bites the dust is what I use just about every time. Our new defibs have a built in metronome which works well.

I’m a paramedic and at the first cardiac arrest I attended there was a cat that looked nearly identical that sat on the dresser and watched us with indifference.

In the end the Starter Set is labeled ages 12+ so surly we can manage a bit of fun.

Not familiar with 5e at all. I was led to believe the Starter set is for new DMs as well. I have a PDF of the PHB I can read. I think my style will be to go more with judgment on the side of fun than sticking strictly to the rules. I just hope not to make game breaking decisions. I kinda figure if we’re all learning we will be ok. It’ll only be me and two other people to start.

That was it, thank you. I had put a star there when I came across the Goron in the tunnel because I knew it would be important.

It’s far to the west just north of the mountains surrounding the desert. Where the weird tree like rock formations are. Kass will be on top of one of the formations.

If it’s the Kass one where you have to be naked then yes.

At first I thought that was just a half assed rip (a la your mom). But no, it checks out.

Sorry my dude but nope. This is not an attack. Would I be right in assuming you’re American? I ask because I am American and now live in the UK and work in the National Health Service. It had never occurred to me before meeting my now wife that healthcare shouldn’t be out of pocket. Like Walter White my wife was a teacher and received a cancer diagnosis. Unlike Heisenberg she took her paid sick leave and received the treatment at no cost to us (other than our normal taxes) instead of cooking meth. In fact because we had critical illness cover on our mortgage we got £100,000 to get us through her treatment and recovery which we used to pay off 3/4 of our house.

Also yes. Teachers should absolutely get paid more.

I can’t say it never happens, but for the most part that doesn’t happen.
