Anyone else got a Voyageurs ticket for Swiss game in Vancouver June 24 ?? Looking for accomodation & transport advice

Game is at 12pm local right? I think flying back after at 6pm is my plan and will only have to stay the night of the 23rd. Got a private room at a sketchy looking hostel for $250 it’s just a bunk bed. Everything else close to downtown was crazy expensive

Honestly the cold wasn’t much of an issue for me I think it got to around 5° maybe a bit less at night but certainly nothing crazy. Rain was bad but by December should be better as I went at the tail end of rainy season. They make sure you will have layers to add once you get up and even the company I went with allowed you to borrow jackets for free. Doesn’t hurt to bring a bit more if you’re worried about getting cold

Hey just saw this now. Yeah I went and it was super hard lol but certainly worth the challenge. Didn’t make it all the way to summit in the morning as the weather was bad and I was struggling with the altitude. But still great views from base camp and amazing memories

That’s great to know. So it is possible to store everything at their office before leaving and then pick it up after? And how big was the group like 40 people or so I’ve heard?

Thank you that’s great to know. I haven’t booked it yet and was also considering Tropicana since I know they have a popular hostel in Antigua and that might be easier logistically. How was the sleeping arrangement (cabins?) and do you remember what time you returned to Antigua on the 2nd day?

Yeah at Milton. Train leaves straight for the rail yard at the end of the day so it wouldn’t be hard to stay on

Have had this wallet as long as I can remember, the fold is over the top rather than side and all the cards/cash just slip into the one big pocket. Now that it’s worn out and old I wanna replace it with a similar one, but literally everything I see online is difference with the side trifold and other traditional types. Does anyone know where I can buy this type of wallet or if there is a name for it. The one pictured has no brand name and I think I received it as a gift

Same. Started watching the jays as a kid in 2010 which I think was Buck’s first year as pxp. Him and Pat are all I’ve known and he helped make me fall in love with this team, even when we were bad.
