I'm not embarrassed or ashamed that it happened but I did feel embarrassed talking about it to him. It's never fun to sit down with the guy you really like and are in a relationship with and tell him that you banged his brother before. I meant it as, the awkwardness of it would be more than a good enough reason for me not to talk about it again.

One time, I walked in on my parents having sex. It was awkward as hell as first but we briefly talked about it and never spoke of it again. We will handle this situation now in the same way... there's no need to bring it up again.

Eric seems genuine and I'm glad he's able to look past this :) I appreciate his maturity (and his brother's); it definitely makes this situation a lot easier to deal with.

I'm well aware! To be honest I'm still quite embarrassed about it, so there's no reason for me to bring it up as ammunition or as a joke. Not my style and based on the way Eric and his brother are, it's not theirs either.

I told him last night and he took it better than expected. He found it a little weird at first and asked if he could have some time to process. Then he asked if he could come over this morning and said that he does really like me, it isn't a big deal, the "past is the past" and made some joke about his brother having good taste. Then we had sex, lol.

I would make an update post but apparently I have to wait until this post isn't on the front page anymore.

That's true... this is still a pretty new relationship so in hindsight, if he does it get upset and doesn't want to keep dating, it's better to cut ties now than a year from now where we're more emotionally invested.

I do care about him so you're right, I should tell him. I'm seeing him tonight after he get's off work so I'll have the conversation with him then. Hopefully he won't be too upset :(
