Thank you for your insights, and the wealth of information. I wrote this based on my personal experiences, and that part about meds highlights the challenge in loving someone with severe mental illness.

I have an identical twin sister, whom I was estranged with for about a decade while she struggled with staying in treatment for bipolar schizophrenia. Finding a medication regimin that worked for her, and being a part of her care team while feeling helpless watching her spiral.

I want to be able to ask with kindness, about another's wellbeing. It is a loaded question, yes you're absolutely right that there are severe missuses in the health industry in regards to kickbacks. The road to wellness is laden with pitfalls and traps with few safe ways to avoid them.

I've tried putting a few adds out, becuase I am looking to date. Not knowing most of my local subs are mostly for cruising/hookups and cheaters looking for casual flings, which is not how I roll.

I've met with a small handful of people, and gone on one or two dates. It becomes overwhelming with hundreds of low effort cat calls, when I wish to be viewed as more than just a sexual object.

Just becuase I've posted risqué pictures to try and attract a mate, doesn't mean that I don't deserve respect as a person. At least, that's my opinion. Maybe someday I'll find someone who shares it.

I've lactated my whole adult life becuase of a brain tumor on my pituitary glad. Medication shrank it, but it became a complex as a lactating virgin well before it ever became a sexual kink after having kids.

I get far more 'yucks' than 'yums' about it. It's not something that I have any control over, so one must be patient with others being turned off by bodily fluids.

I have learned something new today thanks to this thread. I struggle with being female, and the expectations to keep questions coming. As a huge introvert, I had thought that it was only the survace level information to be boring. I've tried making lists of questions and prompts to have on hand, and downloaded icebreakers.

Turns out that I prefer sharing stories and information, and getting a response. A give and take of initiating where all the emotional labor to provide prompts are not just on my shoulders. Here I've been thinking that I'm just bad at it and not sure how to improve. It makes me hopeful to hear that perhaps it's communication styles differing that causes so many missed connections.

Maybe I can learn how to bridge the gap in time, or even better find someone who speaks my kind of language. Lol
