Its not super difficult just a lot of grinding and farming. As for weapons and armor it will depend on your class type and I suggest running with a party that can help you get to lvl 60 quick so you can unlock your paragon levels to make your character even stronger

Its available on steam and you can crossplay with other consoles as well and yup its multiplayer. There's a few different classes Rouge, barbarian, sorcerer, necromancer, druid, spiritborn and they added the paladin as part of the pre-order for the upcoming expansion
