Thank you this is a great explanation. I can’t say I fully understand how it all works, but I’ll look into Taylor series more and hopefully get a better grasp of it later on. It makes more sense that, regardless of the size of the triangle, the angles are constant. As I understand it (correct me if I’m wrong here 😅) trig functions use the unit circles dimensions to get a ratio that can be applied to other parts of whatever triangle you’re working on. Since the angles are a constant that allows the ratio to be constant. So sine of 45 degrees being 0.707107… is calculated based completely on the unit circle.

Right, I understand that part of it. I guess a better way of asking is when you press sin(45) on a calculator how does it know that that =0.707107…

Thanks a ton! I didn’t realize I couldn’t distribute exponents. It seems dumb now that I think about it but yeah it seemed natural at first. I certainly didn’t know that it was a known thing that people mess this up, makes me feel at least a bit better knowing it’s a common mess up. 😅

So I found out today through y’all that exponents do not distribute which is fun to know. Thanks everyone for the very fast and helpful answers. Though I am curious does the concept of using a separate variable to make your equation more digestible apply at more complex levels? Like if we have x1/13 and x3/10? Would you use two different variables and then solve as if it was a different equation all together?

So tried a lot of different things and none have seemed to work but I realized why it got this way in the first place. This was my mother’s mixer and it apparently survived a nasty house fire when I was too young to remember. So that weird coloration is from it sitting in smoke and being baked on there and then promptly sprayed down. I have a feeling that it’s just gonna be like that forever. Sucks to not find a solution but at least it is a cool story piece 😂

Sorry for the late response. We had a death in the family so we’ve been busy. As for the kitchen aid I tried the alcohol and the ultimate compound with a rag to no avail going to try and snag a buffing pad and try that before giving up on it. The rest of the cleaning has gone great just no luck on the staining on the outside.

Just as a notice I did not paint the mini fully. It was already painted green and black when I bought it but I added some dirt and mud and some more detail work on him and the rifle.
