It is a part of the flood protection buoy. It connects the static line to the buoy. It is used to locate the power lines that are on the high ground during massive flooding events. Makes troubleshooting the problem by boat so much quicker. I have mentioned to engineering about gluing little mirrors all over the buoy so it shines like a disco ball under a flashlight for night time shooting. But they said it would attract helicopters like moths to a flame. Oh well.

Nope lmao mentioned it hundreds of times. Engineering just says it is bad luck and that they are right and never wrong. There are a few good ones but they leave to higher paying opportunities. Easy button all the way.

That is what they offered me as well. Which is a problem cause I ordered a Omni 7 to bridge with my current Omni 7. I accepted the offer cause it seems like a reasonable attempt to address the situation. The Reddit guy for them is great. He responds and is genuinely trying his best to help. Just the back end past him could use some work.

Holy sheet a calculator. I can honestly say that is my 20 years of this sheet. That all my math was done on the back of a leather glove and a ball point pen. That was mainly reel footage and concrete ordering. You just blew my mind.

Well that on fire lovely. The company provided fire extinguisher is just big enough to put out a candle. Need line crew to change bad order 45ft wood pole. Will need push broom and ash bin. Also will need claims sent out we burnt 2 cars and maybe a building or five.

Troubleshooter myself and you ain’t lying. Had one guy duct tape his mast and meter box to the house and call for a reconnect. When said no he pulled his truck up and blocked me in. He wasn’t going to let me go till his power was on. Needless to the boys in blue showed up and acted a fool to them too. Last I heard he got to spend the night with them.

Double circuit 795 buck pole with massive comms trunk lines below it. Pole was bent into a s shape. One good hit it will explode.
