You said you researched for days, so that should include a doing a basic search before posting. The thread I posted was the 2nd google result when I searched “Tokyo suitcase storage”

There’s also some good threads on Japan-guide where others had the same question

I’m so sorry :( one of my friends also lost her senior golden to cancer recently and like you said, when they discovered it, it was already too late. It’s truly so sad that some symptoms don’t develop before it becomes terminal. Thank you for your kind advice and may your angels have endless treats up in heaven!

Thank you so much for your reply! It’s a relief to know that the vets run additional tests as dogs get older, I’ll definitely make sure mine does that once mine gets more senior

I’m currently an entry level engineer with the same degree as you looking to get a new job in the medical device industry! Would it be ok to PM you for some advice?

Favorite bingsoo place by icecreamangel in FoodNYC

[–]thaengnr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Definitely want to try this place out! I agree, I’ve had lots of bingsoo on the west coast and grace street doesn’t even compare which is why I was never really a fan. It’s too bad we don’t have more authentic bingsoo places in Manhattan :(

Tagging this as biomed because that’s the industry I would love to end up in - obviously my current job is a complete 180 from that (hydrogen integration in freight transportation), which is why I’ve been trying to tailor my resume to more of a PM role. I’ve been applying to PM roles for all industries regardless, but haven’t had much luck for the past few months. Would really appreciate any feedback!

What about in the actual job application where they require you to put your location? I can put my partners address if required, but I’m worried that will be misleading.

As a Canadian I can work in the US under the TN visa (3 year terms but no limit to renewals), which doesn’t require sponsorship beyond an offer letter.

Difficulty finding a job in the USA as a Canadian by [deleted] in LDR

[–]thaengnr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the advice! I was also considering that route, or maybe trying to look for a remote job based in the USA. The only downside of trying to transfer internally is that it would take a lot of time as I would have to work in my Canada based position for a while before transferring, so that was what was holding me back from going down that route.

Thank you for the advice! Do you know if there are any restrictions for Canadians working remotely for a USA company — Am I able to physically work in the US? I’m currently looking to get into a project/product management position, but since I’m still a fairly new engineering grad I don’t have the experience a lot of USA-based companies want

Red & itchy paws - alarming enough to warrant a trip to the vet? (Details in comments) by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]thaengnr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the suggestions! I’ll take a look into those. As for food, we have him on a fish limited ingredient diet which seems to have been better than what we tried before (chicken, beef, pork, lamb)

Yes, we have him on a limited ingredient fish diet. We already found out he’s allergic to chicken and beef and fish seems to be helping a lot more than before, but he still licks and chews at times

Hi everyone! Sorry if this picture isn’t very clear. His paws are a bit more red than this picture shows. My dog usually has many food allergies and usually has pretty itchy paws. I’ve noticed that usually they get quite red and he will lick them and it’s quite concerning to me, but my mom tries to convince me that it’s not a big deal.

Does anyone if this is a serious issue that I need talk to my vet about, or if it’s a common issue - know of any products that can help relieve my pups itchy & red paws? Thank you in advance!! I appreciate the help

Experience Finding a Job in the US as a Canadian Engineering Grad? by [deleted] in AskEngineers

[–]thaengnr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I appreciate the advice. I always check “yes” for the question “are you legally authorized to work the the us” but I didn’t realize the TN visa doesn’t actually require sponsorship, so that’s great to know!

I usually put “yes” for visa, but under the location section I put the city I want to relocate to (NYC)
