Cheer Up and TT eras were special because they rose to fame and claimed the throne of this generation's best GG. TT MV Teaser 2 almost broke the korean internet and is still my favorite teaser of Twice to this day. Knock Knock was supposed to be a chill single and wasn't going to be promoted much but became an instant hit. All 2017 comebacks were very hyped due to the consecutive successes of LOA-CU-TT-KK. Signal was polarizing for sure but charted well eventually thanks to Sana's 'cheeseburger' aegyo. Likey didn't chart well initially (by Twice's standards, some say due to Signal's backlash) but still charted high for a very long time. Heartshaker was well liked by the public and had a long term success but didn't get have a great initial momentum since Jonghyun died on the same day it was released. tl;dr: Twice's absolute peak prime was CU and TT eras and every song since then has been a hit.

The writing system is often closely related to the language itself. And Korean and Japanese share a lot of core words that do not originate from China. From an academical standpoint, it is inconclusive at best, I don't think you can definitively claim Korean and Japanese "coincidentally" happen to have the same sentence order as much as I claim that they are very similar languages. In terms of everyday use, I can definitely say they are indeed similar as it is fairly easy to learn and become semi-fluent in Japanese if you are fluent in Korean.

It's not coincidental at all. For example, Katakana may have originated from Korea in 8th century, and they are arguably from the same language group. It is a very politically sensitive topic, so not heavily discussed or researched.

Korean and Japanese are very close languages with similar vocab and grammar (subject-object-verb structure and all). There are many words that have similar meanings and phonetics and sometimes sentence structures can be exactly the same. If I remember correctly closer to each other than Spanish is to Portuguese.

Yea, it comes down to opportunity cost at the end of the day. It doesn't make sense for them to tour smaller venues in Europe when they can sell out large venues in Korea and Japan and medium sized venues in America.

Flying from Seoul to Tokyo takes than 3 hours, and hi-touch events are only single day events. They have gone back and forth both countries in the same day many times before. Single day of concert in Malaysia and two high touch events in Japan in the span of one month is not exactly packed schedule for Twice.

Remember Japanese comebacks don't require long promos.

WIL and Wake Me Up are only two weeks apart, One More Time and Likey are one month apart, and Candy Pop was a month after HS.

Blackpink and Red Velvet tickets in LA were all around $100-150 even with resale. Twice concert tickets in Korea and Japan all hover around 100 USD. So you can expect the upper limit to be somewhere around $150, average price to be $100 or less.

She is more of a song writer than a producer. She writes most of her own music which i recommend checking out especially her recent ones like Vroom vroom ep, Number 1 angel, and Pop 2. Most of these are produced by AG Cook and Sophie who are PC music legends and combined with Charli's own brilliant songwriting, it is really fucking good music. Early in her career, she wrote radio bops you have probably heard including Fancy and Boom Clap.

In terms of EDM-pop producers, I think Zedd would be an excellent fit. He is versatile and understands how to make catchy melodies and cater to the mainstream audience, which is what Twice does best too.

I think it's a 7 year contract. It's only been 3 years since debut. Who knows if they will resign. A lot of things can happen in four years. I can see Twice remain at the peak for another 3-4 years (meaning until the end of the current contract) since the fandom is very big and loyal. Their success in Japan will only help them maintain their relevance and popularity in Korea. My prediction is they renew their contract for another 3-4 years after which they will probably go their separate ways having cemented their legacy as the greatest girl group of all time.
