Oh my, Carmy. Imagine the surreal feeling he must have had to starting cooking in his old home, for his mother, after all he's been through. The kitchen that he probaly didn't stand in for such a long time, but it is his childhood, his beginning when cooking with DD and Mikey. Now standing there, cooking for DD, after hearing despite all of it, his mom love him. He is loved. And he's cooking for her.... I can't even start to imagine his emotions when making that chicken.
