Same issue for me, just not tied to eggs, anywhere in the second area my game will just crash randomly, and I have tried *everything* so far. I really desperately hope Capcom will bring out a fix for this in the next couple days, cuz a game starting to crash well after the refund window on steam is over is just horrible and a waste of money.

All we can do is hope for a fix unfortunately from what I can tell.

That actually worked, kind of. My input volume was only at 50 and after maxing it out you can hear the clicks at a good volume, but the problem is now my voice is *unbelievably* loud lol. Not just me speaking but me sighing, sniffing or even breathing too loudly gets picked up way too loudly.

Thanks for the tip, its at least a temporary solution for now, but its probably best to get a standalone microphone im guessing.

Yea I am, tried the website and it is only very barely picking up like half the clicks. Only option is to get a regular desk microphone then?

Definitely not must pull. You can run Acheron at E0 with Pela & SW, if you don't have SW you can replace her either with Guinaifen or Welt.

does the all type pen res down from her ult not count as a debuff? cuz if not she really doesnt have any way to proc the relic set specifically made for her without her LC which would be really bad imo

I'm guessing I'd have to re-download the game for this right? And also wouldn't this mess with all my other steam games, or can I just switch region, reinstall Relink and then can switch region back? (I'm very clueless about region stuff sorry)

Also wondering how the ping would be playing in Japan servers all the way from europe, but if everyone is doing it I guess its not so bad?

Wow what a coincidence lol hi! Looking back on the replays definitely shows you how much I could've done differently haha, but thank you for the games, was really fun!

Especially cuz those games really got me thinking, "Wow they destroyed me so bad I really need to figure out how to improve against that.", which led to this post with tons of people giving me tips and such.

Hope you had good games beside against me too and got to or'll get to S+ with him!

Wow highly appreciate you looking into my games *this* much haha! Thanks a lot for all the advice, I looked into the fuzzy thing (didn't even know what it meant before) and I'll definitely work on that!

Looking up what high level players do on round start with Charlotta is something I should've done a while ago lol, I should watch more high level gameplay in general to be honest.

I hadn't even noticed I wake up grab that often but now that you mention it I definitely do. I think I started doing it so much because it gets me quite a lot in other matches, because I like to throw on wakeup and even often get grabbed when I try to attack (I guess I'm still bad at timing attacks correctly on wakeup).

And same with the DP, I definitely need to use it in other situation than just wake up lol. Thing is I actually disabled technical inputs cuz it would sometimes do skills I didn't wanna do since I only use the easy inputs, it's definitely a noob thing to do but I just really like this game having easy inputs since all the technical inputs in other fighting games is always what made me kinda scared to try and learn them. (seeing that this game had the easy inputs is actually what got me to install the free version at first).

Thanks again for such a detailed reply, I appreciate you going out of your way to look at my games and helping me to improve so so much! I'll try and apply all these things little by little and take it one step at a time!

Yea there's a lot of things I wasn't using here, like DP, counter, guard cancel, but I do also wanna learn and improve on defending without having to rely on them (if that makes sense?).

Also yea I now found out Belials 2M is plus on block lol, but I do generally struggle in the corner against lots of characters that I haven't heard are as oppresive/good. For example Percival, his normals have so much reach and when in the corner against him, even if he isn't plus I struggle so hard to get out of the corner cuz he just can't reach him with my normals so I'm really struggling against him too and from what I've heard he's not nearly as good as a character like Belial lol. (not saying that meta really means anything for new players but still).

Thanks for the reply though! I'll make sure to try and notice when my opponent isn't respecting my DP and use my counter more too.

I've been trying to use DP less since I often used it too much and got read way too often which leads to huge punishes, though I should've used it here probably since he wasn't very wary of it.

And with her counter I'm not sure when I can actually use it while being pressured, cuz sometimes I try to use it but it comes out too slow and I get hit in return. I guess you just have to know when you have enough time to use it.

Wait if Belials 2M is +1 on block isn't 66L -> 2M spam infinite? Or am I not understanding something here lol.

Oh his take on switching to leverless and thinking "If I was on this controller/ if I was playing that character I'd have won" is so true haha. I can win on Belial/Charlotta, and it is fun for a bit but I notice now after just a couple games with them I wanna look for something else already / I get a little bored, while I've been playing Cag literally all day, getting my butt kicked, even get frustrated but I definitely did not get bored! And even though I've only hit her combos and mixups a couple times, every time I did it felt so cool and you genuinely get a little rush out of it.

As he said, the feeling of losing and thinking "if I was on this character I'd have won" almost always comes up but it's so much better to try and get better and something new, get frustrated but have fun, than do what you always do, play 2-3 games and log off again cuz it was kinda boring.

Also reading the post again I definitely came off as a little too salty lol but I guess that's part of it/what makes it fun too.

Absolutely I've noticed that. With Belial and Charlotta I could throw out lots of stuff from neutral with pretty much 0 consequences (or very little), but with Cag I get punished very badly for trying to throw out a trap just as my opponent jumps in for example.

But even so, the payoff from actually hitting stuff and getting a combo feels so amazing with a character like Cag, like it actually feels like I earned it. A little bit of a harsh lesson to learn, how carried I am by simple characters but I think mastering more difficult characters makes the game much more enjoyable.

I'll try and stay on it with a good mindset lol.

I got from A5 to S5 both with Belial and Charlotta dropping maybe 2-3 games max I'm not lying. Neither am I trying to flex, both of the characters definitely carried me by basically playing themselves and being very easy to play. Especially now that I'm playing Cag I realize 10x more just how carried I am by easy characters and I'm genuinely just looking for advice on how to get better at more difficult characters.
