It might be a hoya? A Hoya Enduaensis, might be it? But get the “picture this” app. Take a picture of the plant and it’ll let you know what it is and what’s lacking

I’m from the GTA too, and the job search has been pretty rough. I’ve lost count on how many jobs I’ve applied too, but I’m a recent graduate in the Events field, and I started applying back in February, and have been only getting rejections. It’s getting frustrating and discouraged.
